UMvC3 Magneto Videos: Day minus[-] 3 Combo's

So whats his easiest 700k combo with 1 bar? Also are his fly/unfly combos a bit easier than Nova’s h fly, h unfly, h fly combos because those are really stressful to do online.

for corner you can do basically anything into hypergrav loop into tempest for 800+

Does the staircase air exchange combo from vanilla work in Ultimate and is there any change to this combo since many of Magneto’s vanilla combo have altered?
Also can some tell where to find the input notations for the combo because I can’t find it anywhere?

here is my magneto mid-screen touch of death combo, 1 bar, no assists until dhcing into vergil required, vergil however is required.

so i have been trying to nail the hypergrav loop for a while but i can never get the second hypergrav (the one after you airdash down forward and air h, stand h) to connect. the other character always falls down before my hypergrav can connect. the funny thing is, is that if i turn on the turbo function for the h button, i can do the combo. is it because my inputs are too slow? i’ve tried to press the air h and standing h as quick as i can without any luck. is there a certain button technique that i need to use? any help would be greatly appreciated, i’ve watched a lot of the tutorials on the hypergrav loop but none of them seem to cover this aspect.

• don’t mash H. turn inputs on and make sure you only see two H’s each rep( like in the video)

• you can superjump alot earlier than you think you can

• you can superjump alot higher than you think you can

• YOU MUST HIT THE SECOND H AS SOON AS MAG’S FEET TOUCH THE GROUND

• the second H is the most important part of this combo. depending on how high or low you do your SJ the second H will need to be done faster or slower.

• there are two different ways to land this combo. you can choose speed(harder) or height.

Speed - SJUB, ADDF at the minium height required to land a j.H. causing the captured oppenent to slang shot up. You must input j.H, s.H really quick. if done currect the oppenent will be above mags head.

height - this one is much easier. the only thing you need to remember is the timing on the second H is alot slower.

Speed is the advisable way, as it nets you a few more reps. Height is a lot safer if you’re not entirely accustomed with the combo. Either way, dropping the HG Loop means a “free reset”

So I’m joining Magnetic Brotherhood and am learning Magneto for my Vergil/Wesker/Mag team. Right now as I’m just learning the character I’m sticking to this combo for mid-screen:
cLMHS xxsj jH adf jH xxMagnetic Blast L, land, dash forward st.S xxsj jH xx Fly jLH [adf jH]x5 jS (Thank you to Dino actually. I was working on a variant of this myself just seeing what I could come up with, but it seems you already posted what I was trying to do lol.)

For the corner I’m just going to learn the hypergrav loop into tempest. I was wondering though, is this actually the best option in the corner? Until I get into the more advanced stuff I’m just curious if these combos will do the trick for now.

This is what I’m doing for the loop. Seems basic enough. If it isn’t optimal though any criticism is appreciated.

j.s, s.h, launch, sj, j.h, addf, j.f, s.h, launch, sj, j.h, adf, j.h xx light blast, land, normal jump forward, j.m, j.h xx light blast, land, s.h, 1-2 reps of grav loop depending on my confidence, launch, j.mmhs, land, wesker assist, hyper grav xx purple popcorn.

basically came up with it trying to do a combo that encompassed elements of all his main bnbs lol.

Alright, I’m looking at adding Magneto to my team. I need someones honest opinion how hard are his combos and how hard is it to be effective, I think he can work with my other two members Doom and Taskmaster but I want to have an idea of how much work is going to be necessary to make him work.
