Wonder how long the delayed wake up time will be, and how you do it.
Does Capcom let people release footage of location test out on YouTube and whatnot? I’m sure they know pretty much everybody who has an eye on this game, but can’t make it out to one would really like to see some stuff in action.
So USF4 will be in the US/Euro “Before Evo” so much for “Early 2014” seeing as Evo is in JULY. I guess “Early 2014” is “Anytime before the halfway point of the year” lol.
Said it in the official rebalance thread: everyone should put in for the removal of crouch tech. They seem open to suggestions of any sort now so I we go crazy and suggest t a bunch they just might do it, who knows.
I’m hoping someone can get their hands on that list of changes. Anyone know how they go about doing the local tests are far as how they distrubute the changes? Will it be like a drama class where everyone lines up to see if they made it into the show or will they have something you can pick up and take home?
I almost kinda prefer that they change taunt to back/select button, and make red focus HK+HP. I know it would take away the funny kara taunts, but nobody really uses that anyway.
No more LP+LK+MP+MK tech throw / focus backdash OS either.
Which was a pretty legit defensive option against some 50/50 for characters with a decent backdash.
My personal prediction will be that on soft knockdown, you can do quick rise or normal rise, and on hard knockdown, you can do normal rise or slow rise, with the input for slow rise being the same as the input for quick rise on a soft knockdown. That’s how I’d do it, anyway… sorry for the multiple posts, mods…
Guess you guys forgot that Cody would lose fake badstone if that was done. Dudley would also lose Rose throw though down+select would be ok for a move with as limited a scope and usage and rose throw, same with Dan’s crouch taunt. Cody’s fake bad stone however is a move that is used regularly and having it be down+select would force either new input layouts removing one of the 3P/3K buttons or simply removing the usage of the move entirely.
That is a solution but it would require changing regular badstone to be cancelable to feint and knowing Capcom he’d then lose the meter gain on start up. Viper’s TK and Seismo don’t gain meter until after the feint frames that way she can’t use TK Feint or Seismo feint to gain the startup meter.
