I actualy like what they did with grab ultras. They do a lot of damage but are too cheap for some characters to have 0 frame after the ultra freeze. Red focus helps with that, sure it scales but it has more utility than just pick it for a situational punish.
Now if only they would make counter ultras more viableâŚ

I enjoyed the first match way too much, especially at the end when Elena backdashes like crazy and the Rose player gets scared that she might use healing. Ahahâ Comedy.
Roll cancel is where you cancel the roll animation into a special. The invincibility of the roll transfers to your special.
But you canât cancel into a roll animation from a level 2 super in C-groove I believe. Only specials/level 1 supers. So itâs really just a special cancel (no roll involved whatsoever).
Godsgarden is doinâ the job once again, they provide another good amount of matchs in good quality : Gamerbee (Elena, Adon, Yang)/ itabashi (T.hawk) / Kazunoko (Roll-ento) are there. A couple of good matchs especially against reiketsu (the claw player).
Considering itâd defeat the whole purpose of implementing DWU if people just went into training mode and found setups that made it insignificant, I can see why they would do this. Not to say its a good thing, however. Besides, people are still going to find those setups⌠Itâll just take longer.
DS should really be available in training mode as itâs part of the game like everything else. Strange they didnât include it. Oh well you can still practice it with another player in T mode.
