out of randomness… i dont think that the sfxt stages look out of place in sf4. I just thing it needs the sfxt gunk taken off to look better and be shortened. I found these videos on youtube for the demo of them on pc.
Ultra Street Fighter IV will be the 3rd greatest fighting game ever created!! ( the first being FIGHTING VIPERS!!! and the second being FIGHTING VIPERS 2!!!)
The greatest roster (better than SFAlpha 3), the greatest gameplay mechanics, greatest music, the greatest presentation (it felt goofy at first but you know, it actually looks and animates way better than any other SF art style.) more modes, fantastic character additions, more stages.
And it really isn’t copy paste considering SSFIV and SFxT are worlds apart in fundamentals and mechanics.
Even characters that carry over have to still be reworked almost from scratch for ULTRA’s gameplay and balancing.
the true SFIV has yet to be experienced and ULTRA will set the standard for highest quality Street Fighter gaming.
People should actually be grateful for this ultra refined edition. a Street Fighter V wouldn’t be able to hold a candle to ULTRA SFIV.
You bought SSFIV disc: $60
You updated to AE: $15(?)
You patched it to 2012: free(?)
So over the span of a year and a half to two years, you spent $75 on literally hundreds of hours of gameplay. Hundreds. Not just that, but it’s also been the source of countless hours of entertainment via streams and tournaments for you, either as a spectator or as a competitor. Now, Capcom has decided to breathe new life into the game for a minimal cost of $15. For that price, you get new stages, characters and a reworked system. This will inevitably add more new players and cause those who got bored with the game to return. Yes, the characters were in SFxT, so what? Folks want new characters and yet complain about a $15 price tag. How are you going to get new characters when you can’t even afford ported ones?
In the end, $15 for another year of exploration, gameplay, lab time, tier list debates and EVO matchup intrigue is a small price to pay…but if folks are too cheap for that, then just watch it for free on stream for the rest of the year.
I have given Capcom enough of my money 4 this game they aint gettin anymore. Not to mention the characters aren’t really (with the exception of the 1) new, the balance patch and new modes r nice tho.
Wow. Well I don’t know what to tell you. Those costume packs aren’t integral to the gameplay and are meant merely for aesthetics. Now, if you bought a skin pack and weren’t happy, then maybe you shouldn’t have bought all the other ones FOR BOTH SYSTEMS. I mean, you obviously don’t mind spending money on a whim, so I’ve gotta ask, why turn into a cheapskate now? Two systems, two games, dlc for both, and now you’re complaining about $15?
At the end of the day, you’re a grown-ass person (or get a nice allowance) who can spend money on whatever. With that being said, if you don’t like what Capcom has to offer, then don’t buy it. If you feel like you’re being strong-armed into it because everyone else is buying and playing it, well then fight that power. If, though, you are unhappy because you feel like you’ve spent enough and are somehow entitled to all this stuff for free, well, I don’t know what to tell you.
Btw, I’ve got this great deal on a bridge in Brooklyn if you’re interested…I take Paypal.
They will probably be Tournament Mode, since it was heavily requested, and Color Edit or something lame like that.
Now I personally would love a 3 vs. 3 mode KOF style. With such a big cast it would just be a blast.
Speaking about the cast. I’m glad we finally have an even numer at 44, I hope they’ll leave it at that.
is it going to be possible to upgrade directly from ssf4 if i never paid for the previous ae update? i have the version with guy and dudley, but not yun or yang.
