Is it sad that I really only hope that they add new trials to the characters? I know they’re usually useless, but I enjoy clearing trials… If they do add new ones, I hope they include at least one or two practical combos for the whole cast.
I’ve loved combo trials since their inclusion in SFEX. They should put in practical combos, though.
Im pretty sure they’ll put new trials in. It would look bad if we didnt get trials for 9 of the dlc characters… As for the copy and paste thing… i do mind it at all. At least we are getting something added to the game. Yeah they’d have to chop down some of the stages because they are so damn long and we are getting new modes. The last time we got new modes was from the original to super.

What new modes? IIRC, modes were taken away… Survival and Time Attack got banned.
Anyone complaining over $15 about a genre you love needs to stop playing games and fix their financial situation first. Personally, Im going to get the disc version. My Super SF Disc has that crack in the middle and it looks like my Xbox has chewed it up and spit it back out too many times. Besides I want all the costumes which I currently dont have anyways.
As for the 5th character, I really hope that his or her’s play style is completely original. No shotos please!!!

I am against this more than anyone. I absolutely hate SFIV. But Capcom knows what they are doing, the whole FGC will adapt because it’s a new version of a mainstay FG. All your money are belong to Capcom. No semantics about that aspect. My opinion, its only worth the money, if you haven’t had a SFIV game before.
I dont know about anyone else, but even the fact that I absolutely HATE SFIV, I have still had to buy like 5 copies over both systems. Capcom doesnt deserve my money. If I have a gaming PC by then…straight getting pirated.
If you hate it so much then just dont play it. There are plenty of other fighters out there.
I dont get this mentally, people act like Capcom is forcing you to buy their products. Pirate it all you want, enjoy fighting the CPU.
Dude seriously the CPU can eat a dick. I remember when I played Rose vs Hardest Ryu just to up my reflexes while my net was down and this bastard consistently empty jump shoryuken my slide AA attempts. I before then I used to consistently AA slide now I’m so scared I often just block and let them have offense…
They pretty much have to put in new trials, Chun’s Ex Kikouken will now cause knockdown, in doing so makes one of her trials void.
personally a lot of the trials are useless in-game. Many character threads on here have formed there own trials.
It’d be cool (although highly unlikely) 20 or so real/practical combo trials for each character that are true Bread and Butters, meterless, metered, ultra setups.
That’ll really help new players pick the game up and help players who already play learn other characters easier as well.
The trials don’t work as it is. It reverts to Super when you go into trial mode.
If you hate the game, why would you even bother pirating it? Some form of protest?
There are plenty of other games around! Just pick one you love and enjoy that =)
Yeah, just play other games, you can play KOF, with sucky netcode, hey or play skullgirls, with no competition or action at all online. You have the choice.

This is the funniest thing I have ever read. They got a separate account just for revenue gained from you; it’s got a surplus damn near fills Capcom’s employee money pool. Apparently it’s also only worth it if you bought it 4 other times. xD
Omg I can’t stop laughing dude seriously… No lie I’d be just as angry as you right now if I were in the same situation. I’d be stewing in self loathe sauce. Somehow they manage to sell you a product you hate 5 times. I’d be so fucking angry if they got me like that. They must have Capcom Mormons in your neighbourhood and they just show up with the latest edition; talking you through all the balance changes until you buy it. And now you’re in denial like you won’t buy USF4 but you know you’ll look past all them bruised wallets and buy it again.
This is EXACTLY the problem. What is the purpose of playing what you like, if you cant play it?
I have SG, MvC:O, and other FG’s, most games have had no comp since week one of their respective releases, the others suck online. Exactly why I havent bought KoF. Then you gotta think about what your corner of the FGC plays. If you arent playing majority game, dont bother showing up. There was always that dude bring his setup for that game nobody played… sitting in practice twittling his thumbs. Dat support.
And the piracy thing…not to send a message. Simply because I’ll need practice with the characters and changes.
