I posted that after running into a team with Arthur/Doom (Missiles)/Haggar(Lariat) IIRC since I think of characters in two ways: with assists and without. Nonetheless it was just salt against this one specific playstyle with him basically being able to zone all day and with Haggar you can never get a real combo. But yea just disregard that post.
(I still can’t get over Arthur getting only 50k as his vaunted health boost. I really, really would like to think that he deserves that little amount of life now as opposed his current incarnation.)
Meh. Them skipping over lesser characters, even outside of DLC, isn’t at all that surprising. It’s only natural that the mediocre would get the least attention compared to the overpowered and, to a lesser degree, the underpowered. It certainly does help the latter that the game’s only been out for like, what, 8 months max now? That’s not even enough time to make a formal tier list and yet we get a new game next month already. So even with the glaring problems that some of the obviously troubled characters have (i.e. Chunners, Hsein-ko, Arthur), I’m more surprised that they’re getting touched at all than that they’re not getting touched enough. (Uh, no molestation is involved here.)

I am most happy that Wolverine won’t be as ridiculous. And I am also glad that Akuma is getting appropriately neutered. I honestly hate Akuma with a fiery passion. I despise him mainly because most of the douchebags and arrogant players use him (spamming his taunt and teabagging when the win).
In my experience douchebags seem to gravitate towards Wolverine, Akuma and Dante. At least they’re all getting some nerfs on their most abused moves.

I can say that as far as buffs were concerned I’m definitely looking forward to Hulk’s s.H NOT getting buffed. That shit is already cancellable into anything and didn’t need 3 hurp points of armor. LOL. Incredible punch seems pretty good in compensation.

Sentinel’s biggest nerf post-health patch was his drones assist, but he’s probably still gonna be decent on point. The only things he’s lost besides his assist are Rocket Punch>HSF (And you can just do TK’ed Hard Drive, Plasma Storm, or a Hard Drive in air instead) and Hyper Armor on his standing S (Stings, but only against multi-hit characters). He’ll still play just fine as long as he has assist support.
The DHC glitch being gone is probably the single biggest thing that I am grateful for. Them removing the invincibility from derperine is a close second.
