He does actually have a strait beam like projectile so to speak, The little Zero copy-cat move, qcb.S I think it was. Hahahahahaha.
But yeah, Characters with focuses probably shouldn’t be losing to Dante like they were in Vanilla. But that means they need to get better at what they do.
Also, Dante’s Hitboxes make love to the screen. Accept this. It will never change.
I’d rather they not makes the changes you proposed to Dante, even though I actually find them reasonable. The only reason for that is that I would miss be able to anchor with Dante LIKE A BAWS.
Eh, all I’d like to see done to Dante is for the damage and meter build to come down a bit. Lowering the base damage on his normals slightly would accomplish that.
Oh yeah. Not to mention it’s actually viable in moderation and used wisely. :arazz: But at least it has terribad start-up.

I don’t really care if he can space well since someone like Felicia will kill him once inside, which is feasible to do since his sword is not like Zero’s (Thank the fucking heavens).

I use Haggar (on point) and I know he’s getting nerfs but that won’t stop me from using him… dude is just way too fun with projectile assists backing him.

Something I would love… can Ammy’s hitbox get just a bit taller? I mean, I run the character and I know I’m just trolling when I’m ducking peoples EVERYTHING. Maybe change the way Ammy positions herself to fix that to a degree. But a character shouldn’t need custom combos.
UNLESS THEY UNDERMINE TARGET CONFINDENCE, of course.

When Umvc3 comes, very little is going to change; only for the people who play him for his assist. AFAIK, lariat will stay the same when Haggar’s on point, and he will have some new stuff to stomp the top-tiers with.
Did someone say nerf Dante’s damage? He works hard enough trying to get damage whereas Akuma gets 7 hits and 1/3 of your life is gone and hope to God he doesn’t put you in the corner where he can link two hypers without using XF. Dante was/is only good if you knew what the hell you were doing unlike Akuma, Wesker, Sentinel, and Wolverine where every little combo does crazy damage. I always thought it was weird that Wolverine has a power up hyper just like Dante but he can still build meter.:wtf:
Agree with you there. Dante doesn’t put up huge numbers as is, the DHC glitch does.
As for the hyper, I think it is because you can use it mid combo more easily than Charge, and it gives you much more than just a speed burst (Moves, maneuverability, health regen, etc…)
Speaking of which, I’m happy the DHC glitch is gone. I rarely ever experienced it but I still got so tired of sooooo many teams being used just for it. Not to mention that the characters it was used with were characters who were hard to deal with already. Storm keeps running away until she gets you into a basicground to air to ground combo xx Hyper xx DHC. Your character dies and the “fun” starts again.
As for the TACs, if they are color coded that’ll be good but I feel as though they overnerfed them. The only problem was that using them was extremely easy but incredibly difficult to block. If they still wanted you to have three choices, it should’ve been a rock-paper-scissors type system. Down beats left/right. Left/right beats up. Up beats down. This way you still have three options but it’s a 50% chance of being successful.
