Good stuff. Wine Glass what I use and is pretty common.
Yeah… but its really close to the wineglass so its easy to mistake with the wine glass… :bgrin:
Edit Nvm, just got a tv tray out and put it on there for a little extra elevation and now the wineglass feels fine
Just wanted to let you know. Cant wait for your next video. Are you making another one?:bgrin:
Yes… I shall make another one. BUT! I want to use the stick I’m making my brother for that one, so it maybe a week or so!
very informative vid, loved it
It’s nice to know the names if the different grips. I use the no home grip by the way. It’s always been the most comfortable option for me.
That’s how I play, it’s the “Can’t Touch This” style, because unless you’re hitting inputs your hand doesn’t touch to stick period. Works crazy good for mishima play on tekken.
lol. thanks for the video.
Nice video
Great video, I just got my first stick and appear to use none of the shown methods
Use a bat top, win.
But… its gonna suck when you get a hernia.
What can I call my grip? It’s mainly open handed, If I’m on the left side of the screen it goes like this:
-four fingers except thumb for forward dashing
-palm for forward hops
-thumb for back dashing, backward & upward hops
-thumb, index finger, middle finger, and ring finger for the curves. (my pinky goes out like I’m queer or something)
Wish I could take a pic but I’m at work now.
lol i use the no homo grip…why is called that?
i can’t hear the video very well because of the background noise here
Because you gently wrap your fingers around the ball while touching the shaft
:wtf:
grip not mentioned in here. guess closest was the wine glass.
ahaha ^_^;
you guys are forgetting dragon style.
Right hand on stick, left hand pressing buttons. Predominantly used by king of fighter players.
I use that dirty tissue method someone showed on the front page. Tried a reverse wineglass the other day (Shaft between my fingers, but hand palm face down) made me a lot more accurate, but the cost was it stung my fingers like mad after just a few minutes of playing. Maybe If I get a glove or something I’ll try it again. This vid makes me want to try the other grips because who knows, maybe one of these other grips will be more comfortable…
