i use a combination of the wineglass and eagle grip but most of my palm is over the top of the ball. hard to explain. would provide a pic but I have no camera.

Great video! I’m one of those people who had questions about holding a balltop when I first got my balltop stick (I’ve been using a Happ my whole life, pretty much exclusively), and although I pretty quickly found a comfortable way to hold it I’m sure this will be useful for people who were in the same situation I was in.
Personally I use a wineglass, except I hold the shaft between my ring finger and pinky (shades of No Homo…so…“No Wineglass, Homo”?). For some reason I have trouble doing supers from 1P side, but this is a problem that’s plagued me forever, it must be mental. Or I have stone hands…probably a combination of both.
I use my index finger and thumb
Whats hilarious is that customers who recently viewed this item also viewed Zubaz pants. Seriously though, I wear Zubaz pants every sunday at Bills games durring football season and nobody has the Three Mountain Wolf shirt on though. 
I’m pretty sure Daigo uses the “No Homo” also as seen in that video.
