I def go with the No homo…was the most comfortable when i first used my friends stick.
The no homo lol! I use a mixture of the eagles grip and the no homo. Great vid, I lol’d when I saw that entourage clip.

I have 2 problems with this vid:
1st of all making up names for all these grips is kinda silly.
But even more important is that when you tell the noobs out there “Daigo and all the good japanese players hold this way”. By giving them this extra information, you actually encourage them to force themselves into doing it too (since it seems like the best way), instead of letting them discover for themselves what they are most comfortable with. (which really is the best way)

- This is supposed to be a fun video. Putting cool/funny names to the grips only allows for easier refrence. What would you call the holds? The 3 finger, one in between shaft, 2nd holding ball touching shaft and thumb on top? See the confusion? When people were trying to describe to me the way they hold their joystick, 90% of them COULDN’T unless they actually had a ball right in front of them… so names to the holds helps a lot.
- Well, thats why I said at the beginning you have to find what you want. I mentioned Diago because I thought of Japanese player that is most famous… didn’t really mean to subconciously dictate joystick holding lol. :lovin:

I use the No Homo grip, but I use more of my thumb than you did in the video. Still a good video though, informative.

I have seen a guy that does a “Praying Mantis” He holds the ball like this. Actually looks usable from the wrist, only problem is that it is tiring if the joystick is too high.

daigo holds the ball top shaft between his pinky and ring finger.
I never realized this was needed until I watched a kid play today. It was terrifying how he held the stick

The constructive criticism is good but ignore all the other ppl who think it’s silly that your tryin to help ppl…the point is ppl who are new to playing with sticks keep askin’ about stuff like this,

i struggle with stick so bad!
finding it hard to switch from controller cos i go from winning 70 to 80 percent to loosing
nearly 100 percent its just practice though i suppose…
the grip of doom should be called the race car driver, cuz it looks like your smashing gears. You should also add a guide on how to play cross handed, so some people will learn it and get crazy good at it. Imagine getting whooped by a cross handed player.
