When you see “normal” bnb which combo are you referring to?
He is probably referring to the normal j.h/l mh stinger xxbcxx volcano j.h airplay jh s.h s h (mm double jump mh) air play h killer bee s xxx clay pigeon sting lvl2 bc then what ever depending on where you are on the screen and what kind of extension you want usually either helm breaker, hammer, or sky dance, and whatever eventually into million dollars.
This is his basic bnb still some what execution heavy but not as bad as shot loops
The common start is just MH Killer bee HS into 3x 10 shots. That’s it.
does devil trigger help combos? My brother keeps doing devil trigger in combos and I want to tell him what the right combo is or not to devil trigger at all. can you guys tell me what to say to him? thx

PS if devil trigger doesn’t really help with combos, what is dante using devil trigger for these days? I remember seeing a video where he needed it in xfactor to kill quickly, is that it? Only for xf dante?
You see a lot of people using the crystal > DT > crystal > XF > lighting x3 > S > fly > Lightning x5 ender to kill problem characters and have the mixup on the next character.
As I understand it, the main issue is that without the damage unscaling you get from XF, Lighting and Vortex don’t add anything significant to combos.
hammer, Crystal >DT > Crystal S ~ shots Stinger BC Teleport > hammer > double Volcano~Beehive
Try ths and see the damage DT gives (by allowing to Crystal plus unscaled shot loops
You can go for about 3-4 shot loops before the stinger if you feel like it.

It’s not worth it, starting with two meters you should break a million easily specially with that optimal (and not match consistent) hammer -> volcano -> j.S starter.
in my opinion only using devil trigger only in XF is a waste of a very good tool to take control of the match : vortex and thunderbolt are amazing moves which make protecting assists very easy, you have flight for not ass high low mixups + double airdash + triple jump. if dante didn’t have devil trigger I’d agree with that “point dante is ass” thing.
Does anyone know a consistent way to pick up after Dante’s airthrow with drones?
mash gunshots + A2 xx hammer works in some situations but not others.
Sometimes the drones all connect, but sometimes a gunshot will hit between the first and second drone, making the opponent drop out. Its very annoying, because it seems position dependent.
For example, with cpu set to jump in training mode, at starting position, back air throw pickup works, front throw doesn’t.
You could try to time pressing H with set intervals for better consistency instead of mashing H. For instance when you do shot loops you only have to hit H 5 times in order to get all ten shots, I’m not really sure about Rain storm though I just mash and x factor seeing as how Dante is usually anchor. I’ll mess around and hit the lab later, I just picked up drones myself. I guess since I’m here, I’ll ask about Drones instead of going to GD. I Just picked up Mags and Sent to supplement my Dante. It’s the only real point Dante team I’m messing with ( aside from Deadpool/Task but that’s not a real team ). I was just wandering if there’s some good resources to look at for this particular team, especially dealing with drones ( emp disruptor is so derp and cheap and wonderful ). Also, some good resources for beginner/intermediate Mags resources would be good if anybody knows of any.
Yeah I tried timing it different, but if you don’t get drones out right when you start gunshots you’ll run out of shots before the drones pick them up since startup is so long.

Magneto forums are a great resource, but be patient when learning mags. If you can learn Dante’s execution you can learn mags. Difficulty is about the same but the characters are very different. Magneto takes a lot of matches to get comfortable with, so starting him on point is a good idea

alright, I appreciate it. I look at the magneto forums too, it’s just that there is SOOOO much stuff to look at lol. I guess it would be the same for someone just starting to play dante as well now that i think about it.
Can this hard tag setup for Strange be done mid screen on does it have to be done in the corner?
Corner only for the best of my knowelage, bu I don’t think I’ve actually tried it outside the corner so…

I’m pretty sure you can extend with bolts into an early revolver > grapple to set it up.
Found out that you can use Unibeam to link shot loops into grapple (into more shot loops or 1 shot loop into stinger that has easier timing than a full set of shot loops.) Seems pretty reliable and builds a ton of meter.
Does anyone know if Dante has any strong options for late combo meter gain extensions with XF 1? I know he has damage options with DT > Thunderbolt stuff, but are there any links/techniques that he gains in XF1 that are worthwhile?
I never use xfactor with Dante unless he is anchor so I have never actually tried it. Depending on the team though you may be able to get some acid rains if I had to speculate.
Cool, not sure why it didn’t occur to me to look at finding a way to do late acid rain extensions. I’ll let you know if I work anything out.
