Can someone link me an optimized xfactor lvl3 Dante combo? I’m going to take 5 minutes to step mine up lol.

I’m salty that you beat Pr Balrog because I had mad salty cash on him but I’ll help you anyway for repping Dante.
Although people think it’s dumb to waste meter with xfc dante it’s only dumb for million dollars. If you use DT he kills in seconds.
I do mh volcano DT j.h thunderbolt x2 fly thunderbolt x 3 I think it does 1.2 mil haha.
If you’re already in dt do the same thing or you can volcano crystal j.s fly thunderbolt to infiniti.

You were doing some of the better non DT combos but in xfc 3 DT is where it’s at.

Sorry if you were looking for meterless but he’s a lot less efficient that way and I tried.


Is there any advice you guys can give me connecting volcano into j.S? Is it just really tight timing that I have to get down?

Pretty much just tight timing. After a j.S or hammer the longer you take to do volcano the harder it is. It’s a lot easier in xfactor. Practice in xfactor first then work your way down.

Honestly, my advice would be to forget about it. It’s very inconsistent and easy to drop. And all it adds is a mere like, 50k or so. But if you insist on learning it I would spend some time learning more about the height at which characters are allowed to air dash. There’s like some sort of invisible horizontal line that you pass over. Anyway, I would start with that then work on timing. Then work on getting it consistent. Well, as consistent as that will get. Usually I like to make sure I’ve got something down 10 times in a row before saying I’ve got it. But with this I’d go for 3-5 in a row. Also. Xfactor training is pretty useful in my opinion. Start with Xf3 then go to 2, then 1, then no xfactor. It slowly helps you with the timing because things are a lot easier in Xfactor.

I need some real help finding a reliable, but basic combo. I’m new to Ultimate Dante, and I watched this video.

I’m trying to use the combo at 5:30 or so, but every time I try something, the enemy bounces out of the Prop Shredder or the Standing H that comes shortly before it. Are there any great bnbs I can learn that have a lesser chance of an enemy popping out of it?

That’s really the most basic BnB you can use. What character are you practicing on? Some characters move too far away so you need to adjust (Frank West for example). You can omit the standing H and just do standing S instead. Just keep practicing~

so…is Dante’s optimal hit confirm still the same lmh > stinger > bc volcano jc > j. H xx air play > j.H > Launch > clay pigeon > stinger bc teleport > hammer > volcano~beehive x2 xx million dollars? Is this really the best he can do solo for 1 meter? Idk why but this just seems…piss poor.

Does anyone have any videos or anything optimal for dante/vergil or dante/strider? Im new to both shells and im curious. Raw tags…assist extensions…whatever. Im just looking for absolute optimal damage BnBs for 1 bar. could anyone help ?

Midscreen I usually do this: LMH Stinger> BC Volcano> j.H> Air play> Killer bee> c.H(1 hit)+Strider>S>Million carats>S Clay pidgon Stinger BC tele Hammer> Volcano Beehive>Million dollars> DHC to Swords> Lunar phase x2 back dash Hightime+jam session(delay a little)>trick down, Super jump Helm breaker> M tele> High time Maximum bubbles if they aren’t dead yet.

fair enough, thank you sir. I spent pretty much all day leveling up my Dantes movement and ways to negate pushblocking solo.

On a note of combos, how many reps of launch > shots are practical in the BnB I typed earlier? As of right now im using 3 reps (launch > shots > launch > shots > launch > max shots > stinger > stuff)

can I squeeze another rep in safely? or would that be pushing it ? As of right now im hitting about 750K one bar no assists (with a hit confirm). From a raw j.S / Hammer, im hitting about 767Kish.

Do these numbers sound about right?

The ‘bnb’ for shots loops suppose to be.
4x 1 shots
2x max shots > stinger bc tele hammer
but i always find it hard to to connect the stinger after any version, so i find my way around it with assists.

Well Gefen I think you’re wrong.
It is 4x1 shots but it’s definitely 3 max shots that way you’re keeping up with 4x1 shots and it’s not hard at all.
Another tip is for the very last rep instead of doing a shot loop just do instant s h stinger like in a non shot loop bnb (for example midscreen volcano beehive dash back launcher clay pigeon stinger.) You’ll launch them so low to the ground stinger connects every time. You’re sacrificing damage but it’s super consistent.

If you’re not using shot loops that’s really the best you can do.
