The Get Back combo is really easy! I shouldn’t have watched that other video, it was really messing me up.
wait…so if im doing shot loops im supposed to be doing a total of like…6 or 7 reps? how in the hell does HSD allow for multiple reps of max shots? can someone post a video?
as of now im doing:
confirm > stinger bc volcano > jc j.H xx airplay > j.H > s.H > S > 1 shot> launch > 1 shot > launch > max shots > stinger > stuff
That’s usually the most I would do. Shot loops aren’t really worth it in my opinion.
I do 3 reps of max shots.
Nah you don’t need to do 6 or 7 loops. Just do the 1 shot loops times 3 and one max shots into stinger or just 3 max shots into stinger.

Does anyone know of moves besides Crazy Dance and Grapple that create a capture state/hard knockdown when DT’d out of? I haven’t found any so far, but it’d be useful to me.
Basically I’m working on a Dante/Frank/X shell and I’m looking for a backup plan for leveling Frank in the corner if I mess up the height on Volcano xx Beehive into Clay Pigeon/Stinger and get the Skydance GB reset going into the corner instead of the hard knockdown version facing away. I’ve been doing the Beehive into Cold Shower x4 into Stinger to be safe, but I’d prefer to use the clay pigeon version if possible. If I do Crazy Dance into DT in the corner, the opponent’s so low that Franks Survival Tools doesn’t whiff.
Anyone have thoughts on it or experience with the situation?
so, does Dante have any way to set up a raw tag to a teammate, aside from Sky Dance? This would be really useful to me.
Also, does anyone know if HSD resets on raw tag? Or is it only damage scaling?
The only other one I remember seeing is the Acid Rain hard tag setup. If you Youtube “Dante Acid Rain Tag” you’ll get a bunch of examples.
Also, raw tags don’t reset HSD, but I don’t think they actually reset damage scaling either. I’m pretty sure tags just remove the .5 throw scaling modifier (if you started from a throw) so that moves start to scale normally again–which is why it’s so useful with a throw like Nova’s (that lets you tag immediately). I could be wrong though, hopefully someone’ll jump in if I am.
…does anyone know how to break 800K with Dante solo, 1 bar, no xfac? Could you notate it ?

I don’t think you can get more than like 790K. That’s the most I"ve been able to get so far.

Hey guys, I’m fairly new to Dante and trying to find an optimized combo for a particular situation with my team. I’m running Thor (beam) / Dante / Doom (missiles) and I’m trying to find an optimized combo off of Thor’s grab super. I DHC to Devil Trigger, and I’m not sure where to go from there. Depending on when you DHC from Thor’s grab super the enemy can either be on the ground or in the air, whatever works best for the combo. Drawing the combo out as long as possible so that Devil Trigger wears off and meter can be built is something to consider as well.
I know that Thor’s beam can be used to get a ground bounce reset, the method I’ve been using is Stinger + call Thor, bold cancel xx Volcano, jump sky dance. And of course Doom’s missiles allow for an extension.
But yeah, as far as a full combo I’m pretty lost, any help would be much appreciated.

So what are my Dante BnBs? Is the OP still relevant? I’m using them for my day 1’s but i know his combos have evolved. I’ve also heard that he has combos for meter and combos for damage? Insight for a day 1 dante looking to eventually have him optimizied?
Been messing around with Dante/Vergil/Strider and right now looking to see what’s the most DMG I can get in the corner. So far I got 911K consistently, but I heard there’s way to hit 950K?
