Just buffer the inputs. As one animation is ending you should imputing the next one

All I can tell you is you need to get used to the timing. I assume your reffering to using volcano after a hammer or j.s otherwise it is much more difficult to do. You can’t mash you just have to press it after you feel like you’ve jumped from the volcano.

I’m working on a corner combo, but I’m kinda drawing a blank at what I should do and what combo route I should take. Plus all the stuff I can think of I can’t do because my execution isn’t that great with this character yet. Here’s the combo.

corner jH, sM, sH, stinger xx bold move xx volcanoe, jM, jH, killer bee, dash back xx sS, clay pigeon (max shots) call vergil rapid slash, million carats, ???

The only thing I can think to do is either another million carats or catch them with beehive and then million dollars. I’ve tried to catch them with stinger, but I can’t get the timing down. Is it even possible? What would be the most optimal thing to do from here?

You didn’t use a wall bounce. You could back dash S into clay pidgin then stinger and do whatever afterwards. Or if you want some good damage and vergil is behind Dante. If that million carats knocks them as high as I think you’re saying then it sounds like you could tiger knee skydance in order to reset the ground bounce, go into million dollars, DHC into swords, and still have a ground bounce and wall bounce to do whatever loop you like with vergil. Personally I prefer double lunar phase crouching H stinger release round trip because it’s simple.

Ok so after the spot I posted above, I’ve been trying to get

backdash S xx clay pigeon x6 , stinger xx bold move , skydance, beehive, stinger xx bold move xx jetstream xx fireworks xx million dollars

…but I can’t get the stinger to connect after the clay pigeon max shots. Should I just be holding forward and mashing out stinger after max shots or is it better to like count out 6 shots and then time the stinger after? And also can someone give me the input for the bold cancel teleport after prop shredder? I can’t immediately find it and I’m a bit lazy. Thanks.

Don’t do max shots. Just do one shot then go into stinger. Much easier, and the shots dont really change much for the over all damage. :d::d::u::s:

I’m going to be making a secondary team with Dante in it, but there’s one important thing i haven’t gotten down yet, and that’s Bold Canceling. I was wondering if there’s any tips that you guys can give me cause every time i try to do a Bold Canceled move like Volcano, all I get is just Bold Move. Thanks in advance.

could this combo be optimized more?

What you want to do is being doing is buffering the :dp: motion as you are pressing the :atk:+:s: buttons for the bold move. So that right after you do bold move, all you have to do is press M and volcanoe will come out. It’s kinda like you are p-linking the inputs. If bold move is coming out, then you are proably not doing the entire motion fast enough. Try breaking it down into small segments and then gradually speeding it up. It worked for me and I got it in 2-3 days. You should really do this with anything complicated or heavy in execution so that you don’t develop bad habits. Make sure that you keep calm, don’t start mashing stuff out and turn on your inputs so that you can correct yourself.

For Stinger xx BM xx volcanoe, your inputs should look something like this. :f:+:h:, :d:, :df:, :atk:+:s:, :m:
or
:f:+:h:, :d:, :atk:+:s:. :df:, :m:

Just try to make sure your pressing :atk:+:s: somewhere in between stinger and :m:

To follow Sky Dance with beehive when you start it in the air, Dante’s head needs to be parallel to the opponent’s crotch/abdomin or about halfway down the sprite. If they are too high above Dante or you start sky dance and you are hitting their legs feet area, then you get the ground bounce-hard knockdown state. If they are too low and you are hitting the upper chest/head area, then they fly out too fast for you to follow up. If you hit Sky Dance right, then you should be buffering :dp: when he is about mid normal jump height and then just press :m::m: when he crouches to the ground. Beehive should hit them when they are about halfway down from the “flip out” apex.

That’s a good team dude. The combo is pretty good a bit incomplete though. I think what you meant to post was:

I would recommend you do st :h: instead of cr :h: and also the two assist calls are kinda close together you might fuck up and be going too fast and not be able to call Strider resulting in a dropped combo. I would recommend this as a optional combo ender.

starting after the samurai edge hammer (if in corner) cold shower xx stinger xx bm xx sky dance xx beehive, stinger during bounce +call vajra assist xx bm xx reverb shock vajra hits, volcanoe, beehive million dollars.
It still works even if you used vajra to start the combo because after reverb ,if you already used vajra, you would just do reverb xx fireworks xx million dollars.

Why no shot loops. Thats your best bet.

Have Dante’s BNB’s changed at all. I’m trying to get back into the game but I’m still doing volcano volcano j.h air play j.h dash clay pigeon prop shredder acid rain j.m hammer volcano beehive jet stream

and

volcano j.m airplay j.h shot loops x 4 stinger hammer volcano behive jet stream.

In corner I’m definitely looking for some updated stuff.

Also what is the goddamn timing on relaunching with prop shredder using dorms assist.
Like exact timings is the assist before or during rain and how many :df::h: should I have.
Any specific distances?
