I don’t think Dante can get 1.2m without resets or Xfactor. You shouldn’t run out of meter with Zero point anyway, so a simple no bounce dante combo that dhcs into vergil sword loops will usually be enough. If you really want to optimize it, shot loops.

Meh hmm I guess it’s true that I’ll have enough bars… Still I guess just shot loops would be the best option for a 1-bar Dante 2-bar Vergil midscreen 1.2mil? I’m kind of a meter-whore always so I try to maximize that when possible, especially because Vergil anchor gets so many good options with both Devil Trigger and Swords.
So I really want to know if Vergil assist is going to enable me to do the Sky Dance hard KD -> Acid Rain after a full shot loop? That should be some nice meter build…
I also would like to know when I can get an early Million Carabs with Vergil assist if ever.
I’m also going to need to learn some really fast X-Factor lvl 3 comboes that utilize either no meter or only Devil Trigger in case shit happens, because I’m going to be pretty screwed if I can’t level the enemy team before X-Factor runs out.
Air Dash C is mentioned multiple times by people in this thread, why has no one helped us out? Air dash C is the most damaging route for Dante combos and you guys don’t seem to acknowledge it as far as I know. I just want some help connecting the air dash C after volcano.
i’ve barely used dante/sentinel, but from what i can tell it’s entirely based on your position, since that will dictate how far the drones will have to travel from offscreen to you. when it would connect, i think what i did was wait until the second drone hit/was about to hit, then cancelled into hammer.
Can anyone help me develop a combo that DHC’s from dante into deadpool using the quickwork assist and rapid slash from vergil? I’ve made a few but they don’t deal as much damage as I’d like them to do I’d love to see what y’all can come up with.
Arrrm Dante will net you around 740K, I think Vergil can help conversion from shots loops, Maybe Quick Work (the low assist right?) will net you another hammer in the combo.

better to do this early in the combo, when these 3 hits will do any damage worth doing
corner, ground bounce, stinger+assist, bold move, sky dance, blablabla.
sky dance needs to hit your opponent when they’re at the highest point of deadpool’s spinning knockdown if you want beehive to connect. which you don’t if you’re gonna dhc into vergil
Anybody here still using Dante with Doom? I’m thinking about running Dante with missiles just cuz I see the potential especially with TAC infinites (especially if I stop being lazy and learn the mid screen stuff). Plus more important all kinds of neutral shenanigans. Hysteric + Missiles = Double Hidden Missiles.
**What’s the best combo for DHCing into Doom? **I used to run Dante/X-23/Doom for a lot of Vanilla and then switched to X-23/Dante/Doom in Ultimate. One of the main reasons I switched to different characters was because Dante DHCing into Doom was kinda wonky if you weren’t in the corner. There any combos with Dante DHCing into Doom where you can guarantee a corner for combo into sphere flame?
I was pretty much thinking about this team after I picked up Viper, it’s just I knew Strider was a bit durpier of an anchor than Dante. I feel like if I actually put time into the team I’ll be ok with Dante as anchor just because Missiles + Jam Session will give Viper everything I want her to have in the neutral basically. Strider assist is probably her best overall assist, but I feel it’s only necessary if you’re using a one neutral assist team. I’m basically missing a fast lockdown assist that really gives Viper what she needs to deal with closer range neutral shenanigans more effectively and create her true power in the neutral. Which is jam session into heavy mix ups and unblockables to get rid of durpy characters as they’re falling in.
Basically trying to do a variation of K Beast’s team Viper/Doom/Dante instead of Mag. It’ll also force me to step up my execution a bit with Viper.
You can pretty much always put the other person in the corner if you Stinger wall bounce > Hammer > IAD j.M > Volcano~Beehive. There’s a ton of ways to side switch with Dante to put them in the corner for Sphere Flame. For example, you can jump forward after midscreen Acid Rain, go behind them before the j.M, and then do j.M > Hammer. Then there’s always SJC Teleport after Prop Shredder.
Yeah, I use these too, except the first one(it’s impossible outside the corner). Looks like I can’t get as much damage out of deadpool as I hoped I could.
it works midscreen just fine
but yeah, the fixed knockdown isn’t as useful as it would seem since it doesn’t bounce them very high. there might be a way to get a million carats using the assist, which would certainly help damage outpout, but i haven’t really gone into training mode and messed around with it yet.
