Nice. I guess for setting up corner TAC infinites I could just stop the combos at a shorter point and launch? Dunno how far you can take a combo before launch won’t work anymore. Ideally I wanna learn the mid screen infinites so that’s not an issue either.

Also if you have some optimal Doom into Dante DHC stuff (particularly with DT just to see the options) that’d be cool too.

Nah it’s cool. Screen positioning does affect it. If I’m far from the corner getting the second drone to hit is extremely difficult but it’s not so bad midscreen or closer. Ugh, wish Dante didn’t have such a crappy throw game

Sphere Flame into DT DHC? I’ll see what I can do, tbh though DHCing into Devil Trigger for a combo isn’t that great anymore. I’ll figure something out though I guess.

Nah OTG with air photon array I was thinking. Whichever yields better results.

I was also wondering if you could relaunch in the middle of DT into TAC back into Doom just cuz.

Oh okay I’ll see what I can do with that too, although it probably won’t be much. They’ll already be on the ground with makes it kinda tough.

So I’ve been thinking about this for a while but need a bit of help. Dante/Vergil with just Vergil Rapid Slash assist, not corner.

H Killer Bee s.H S Clay Pigeon loop(max reps), Vergil assist call during the last loop while mashing H(By the way, is it possible to do Million Carats after the last shot loop and have Vergil assist hit the opponent while they’re being launched by it?)… Now that’s good, but what afterwards? I need the ground bounce reset. If I can catch up to them by just jumping that’s great, but is it possible even starting fullscreen? What if I need to teleport? Also I wonder if something like Sky Dance -> Acid Rain -> Volcano -> Sky Dance -> Reverb Shock -> Fireworks -> Million Dollars would still be possible at this point so that it resets my ground bounce for Vergil? Also, this should generate 2 bars, right? If so I can ToD the entire cast from 0 bars.

It really sucks I have so many things I want to try and can’t play the game until Tuesday…

So disruptor’s great for covering boxjump H and teleport mixups but is the assist helpful to Dante’s combos in any way?

There is a billion Dante/Vergil videos on that already. During the shot loop you can either jump and Sky Dance to reset the ground bounce or teleport Sky Dance > Acid Rain > Volcano > Sky Dance > Million Dollars.

I don’t know if it’s new but I found a cool sideswitch with missiles (needs a ground bounce) : volcano xx beehive > dash and call doom > reberb shock > superjump skydance > volcano xx beehive

It actually adds 40-50k to Dante’s combos if you use at the start of Dante’s grounded BnBs with Stinger BC Volcano.

It adds more if you instead of BC Volcano you BC Hammer and do a hammer bnb after.

In the corner sometimes it whill whiff because the opponent will pop out, so if you go for an air grab you can cal slightly before the Drones, when the throw animation finish you will send your enemy into the drones then you can j.S and do a prop shredder>acid rain>etc., also you can do it in the groung too, though it is not that practical but is a way to aliviate his poor throw game.

Or if you get an air throw midscreen just call assist and mash H and after the enemy hits the first drone go back to the ground and jump for a j.S , it is easy and doesn’t require tight timing.

How exactly would this magneto combo go?

LMH Stinger+Mags BC hammer?

Like a normal Hammer BnB, but i am not very sure because the hitstun deterioration could not allow it so you would need to keep it shorter(maybe you can’t j.H>Air Play>j.H but you should be able to do j.M>j.H>Killer bee) also i don’t think Prop Shredder works, but if you start with Stinger+Disruptor >BC Hammer without anything before it , there should not be a problem for doing a regular optimized hammer bnb except maybe for using Prop Shredder.

Hey thanks, that does ridiculous damage by Dante standards considering how easy that extension is. The extension is braindead and does 740k off a stL? Dante/Magneto <3 <3.

I think you’re actually onto something (Is it a real expression? lol), I will check it, if it will work, man, we’ve got a whole new world of damage for my team.

Not only that, it means you actually can full combo of more than 1/2 screen in a practical way, and it leads to more damage than a normal bnb(or at least can obtain good damage with less effort), by starting from Stinger+disruptor, i am surprised people don’t use that to punish since as long as it hits your opponent it is almost completely safe in case they block, and even if you get hit a lot of the time disruptor will prevent your opponent from punishing you.

I am also messing with AR Hard Tags for my Dorm team, but it is quite difficult(not for execution, more because of the position) since you must be exactly below the acid rain and hit with the tilt of your sword, and cancel it into AR as soon as you can, i watched a video of someone doing AR Hard Tag into Zero >Lighting Loops but i haven’t been able to find it again.

740k with Disruptor extension only, 760k with Samurai Edge extension too! Such an easy extension but it adds 80k to his normal bnb.
