Lol I know its stupid but my philosiphy is if im playing dante and he’s not stylish, i lose even if i win. I dont know why but i dont x factor until like the second or third snapback in if i got meter. I guess I can omit a previous snapback and after my last crazy dance, snapback > xf > reverb > firework > million carrot > snapback lol I guess i can alter it depending on their life

Anyone got any double or tripple grapple combos?
I think I have a double grapple in corner will test tomorrow, also what followups are there after grapple because if :s: is one I got a midscreen double grapple.
Whats on your mind for that for a tripple grapple because alone i think he can only get two in since the only thing that I can imagine grapple chained into is beehive or snapback or maybe reverb, and beehive uses the bounce and reverb is either crazy dance or fireworks. I can imagine one with modoks bomb thingy assist but who uses him anyway. For three to be possible, theoretically, after the first grapple > beehive you would have to reset the groundbounce before the second grapple > beehive to even make it to the third. Then again hidden missles or drones can make a lot of shit happen. You find something let me know…

You know you can link stinger, reverb, or beehive too after that wall bounce > million carrots because of the height they’re at?

Shit. Where are the Dante masters at? My approach to it is I’m trying go for some sort of ground bounce reset after the the launch into skydance or maybe coldshower > stinger > bc > skydance and then eventually go for the revolver > grapple again. But the problem with that is after sydancing it seems the bounce is inevitable before the second revolver. Wrong approach? Gonna try something with drones in a min.

I just thought of something. Maybe you could try to get a grapple off of a whiffed Sky Dance. Try the setup of Sky Dance xx Acid Rain xx Volcano xx TK Grapple. It’s similar to the Acid Rain xx Volcano j.S set up. You could also do Million Carots instead of the j.S if you’re quick enough. If Million Carots could work, maybe the grapple would…? I’m not online to test this out though. Also, here’s another possibility:

The part where I do the Million Carots after the wallbounce sends them high enough for you to quickly dash back and grapple them before they land. Or, you could probably grapple them after the beehive, since they bounce a little higher than normal when you do this set-up. I know it’s not off of a Sky Dance, but this is another method that you could probably use.

sky dance ground bounce > volcano > tk grapple works, nothing else. i made that combo a longggg time ago but never uploaded it because volcano sky dance is a better option for vergil dhcs. if you dont need to save your ground bounce then you can do whatever into sky dance ground bounce, volcano, tk grapple, beehive super.
Depending on what extensions you’re running you can use that to get a grapple reset as well. If the assist allows you to use acid rain generally speaking I think you can backdash st.H (keeps them afloat and fixes spacing) cancelled into grapple while the rain hits. I was messing around with this when I was doing Dark Hole Rapid Slash stuff.

Yeah, there’s no reason to sacrifice damage and meter for dat grapple reset if you can get creative with it. Full combo into an assist extended grapple probably makes Dante the best in the game at resets in regards to meter gained and damage done. Then you could probably do that dumb snap tech and really get the salt flowing. HOLLLAT FIREBRAND.
Anywho, for this grapple nonsense, in theory this combo should work…I think.

Sometimes the characters bounce off the top of the Stalking Flare allowing you to do the raw tag part since it doesn’t burn all the hits as quickly. Might be character specific…or maybe I DHC’d to DT from Stalking Flare and I don’t recall…hrrmmm. Don’t know. Sandwiches are taking precedence right now.
Idk if you knew about this chirp but this guy phraxure had a pretty sweet combo into grapple. During prop shredder he calls vajra and tk an acid rain then dashes back and grapples. The vajra knocks them down, then the backdash gives perfect range, the acid rain otgs and grapple is formed.
Ok counting xfactor I’m gonna get 5 then lol actually I don’t think so probably 4 with xfactor but only for 1 bar.
I can confirm that everything through the DHC to Stalking Flare works, just because I was doing it earlier today. Only reason I can’t say more than that is that my DHC is from Devil Trigger to Amaterasu. I wonder if there are any extended shenanigans one can put together with Veil of Mist to a Dante raw tag.

I can’t seem to land the land the Hammer after Prop Shredder I tried jump cancelling but no luck is there specific timing or do I have to something completely different? At fist I had trouble with landing the jump hard, air play, jump hard so I just hope I don’t have any more trouble after it
Also what do you guys mean when you say TK Volcano?

Well…I guess you just aren’t super jumping after prop shredder. Because prop shredder can’t and don’t need to be jump cancelled. It can only be super jump cancelled.
So when prop shredder is going just start holding up or up+forward, then do hammer once you think you’re high enough. Or, if you want to tele cancel to the other side of the enemy for some reason then just do :d::d::u::s: toward the end of prop shredder.
And a TK stands for tiger knee. The tiger knee motion is :qcf::uf:. Except if you are going to cancel into DP motions it looks like this instead :f::qcf::uf: This is mostly used for cancelling from a jump cancel-able move such as volcano. I think I’ve seen some people cancel volcano into another volcano doing this. So I think that’s what they’re talking about. If not then my bad.
