TVC UAS Tier list speculation thread

Fortunately, Roll has a good assist, so if she stays behind while the character on point ranks up meter, she’s a bit more valuable later on in the match.

Also, you can combo her j.A, j.A (which is super fast and is a nice poke) into her 5A or 2A.

 I found this comment funny as hell. It’s absolutely true. These moves stuff a lot of ish (Zero 5A and Doronjos ass are a huge problem)

I didn’t know about Jun though. I may team her up with Doronjo and see how far I get. I’m going to miss that AAA from other characters…but it may be worthwhile in the long run.

Doronjo’s ass is a big, round, curvy problem.

I think the person who said Morrigan is as easy picking up like Zero is wrong by a long shot. She is probably trickier to use than Zero and not really a noob character. I have scraped people who think they are good with Morrigan with my Morrigan. Zero is not quite easy to pick up either to get good with, he has his tricks that you have to practice.

Yeah but Frank has terrible normals and kind of slow. He is good but a lot of characters beat him out of his tricks.

Zero is easier to pick up and play than Morrigan. You can get some good, uncomplicated combos and mixups down with Zero a lot easier than Morrigan. Her advantage over him is that she doesn’t die as fast as a salted slug.

I used to think PRO jump canceled his jBs back and forth across the screen just for the hell of it (and to showcase them as a constant mixup threat) Nothing like a whiffed or BBQ canceled jB and going low immediately after.

IMO it’s her best way to quickly move across the screen. Her air dash is just too slow. If you can’t jump cancel consistently, she becomes a whole lot harder to play, if not useless. You’re not going to hit anyone without it. :annoy:

Correct me if I’m wrong.

I wonder what people’s general opinions of Frank West are. I’ve tried to get a feel for the character but so far he just seems too hard to use without much reward.

You need the right assist to use Frank to his full potential. He does have many many ways to combo into the Real Mega Buster though, which is why I like them.

I know it’s still kinda speculation, but I’m just wondering why Viewtiful Joe is getting flack in terms of the tier list. Are his awful assist and small hitboxes enough to warrant that position? He has an awesome overhead, crazy speed and mix-up potential, he’s Roll size so some combos will wiff…

I guess his approach options aren’t that great either, what else did I miss that scores him a low-tier spot?

Frank can do shit like this…

Although I think stuff like this is just for show.

Everyone’s seen that video, but it’s really hard to cross under like that, and that’s corner specific where Frank is sort of a merge between keepaway/juggle character type.

frank has a really easy, useful infinite and sufficient mixups to land it, but getting in is the problem…

I’m curious as to how much meter that builds for the person getting hit by it? Obviously if they already have two bars they can mega crash at any point, but if you caught someone at 0 or 1 bar would they be able to escape before they get KO’d?

Theres also a pretty easy to do inf

I think it went like 3C, 63214A, 5B, 3C, 63214A, 5B, 3C, 63214A, and repeat.

I wonder what kind of use it will actually have in competitive play though.

Frank with Ryu/Chun/Rock/Morrigan/Zero is actually not too bad. All of those characters let you zone your opponents pretty decently since aerial C-Bat leads into the Frankfinite. The range and priority on that move is rather deceptive and scoring a single hit will equal big damage. But gosh is it a boring fight.

Why all the Lightan hate?

You have to ask? It basically comes down to pick Tekkaman(Blade) and you win. Hell, even any character with a projectile weapon and decent air mobility can easily outrun him and play keepaway. Even if Lightan does get close, he can’t do much to you - even his 360 command throw is techable.

I don’t think I’ve ever lost to Lightan. I haven’t played him much, but I’ve never lost.

i’m still loving the Tekkamen team, what one doesn’t have the other does. it’s like the Mega Powers, and T. Blade is Macho Man, with The Power of Tekkamania Running wild in Tekkaman, the Space Knight.

The TEKKAPOWERS~!

Why don’t you and your Space Knights go and Tekka hike…

I kid. I also like Tekkaman. Not a big fan of Blade though. His dashes are more awkward than Morrigan’s, and no where near as useful.
