Nope. No super no kill. Undizzy is the reason why IM players cancel the infinite into supers and DHCs. We all call ROM and such “infinites”, since they loop, but they can’t kill by themselves.
I suppose they took undizzies out because in theory an infinite will give you enough meter to megacrash out eventually.

Also if people dunno, Justin took first in TvC, with Marn coming in second. I wanna hear what happened.
Marn said that Justin turtled, and blocked him for like 80 seconds each match (which is an exageration if the video of the finals up is any indicator of the rest of the matches). He thinks that only justin is patient enough to block low all day vs Karas (okaaaaay…). He also told me that Justin thinks Karas is in a tier of his own, but Justin still won pretty soundly with Jun/Chun vs Marn’s Karas/Ryu and Karas/Morrigan. He said Justin won out of losers, score was 3-1, 3-1.
I think its time for people to wake up and realize that Karas has poor mixups. Marn was talking about “how you going to block when i IAD and up-cancel”. That shit is slow, Marnzy.
lol that shit doesn’t even work half the time considering IAD j.B with karas whiffs on crouchers even when you up cancel it the majority of the time.
I’ll agree though outside of wakeup and assist cross up stuff, karas doesn’t really HAVE mixups.
I can see Justin’s playstyle being able to beat karas. Especially considering he’s used to blocking shit in MARVEL. Karas must seem so transparent.
Edit: After watching that video, yeah, I hope people don’t start nut riding Jun. He could have done what he did with like half the cast just as well, that was just Justin playing solid as heelllllllllllll and marn not ever blocking, lol. Hell if Justin was playing Karas he would have had an easier time winning, lol. Probably played Jun so people would stick with the game and not drop it because they see Karas vs Karas and think “fuck this game!”.

he has been playing jun a while to my knowledge. jun is that fire, as i agreed a while ago.

THIS, I think is important to get people to stop the Karas fanatics. I don’t see nothing that Justin couldn’t have done with any other character. Jun doesn’t even have very immediate tools against Karas, that I’m aware of. If you got similarly strong defense with any character, you can probably net a similar win.
Karas megacrash corner loop was well done, but it’s hard to have believe that’s the unspeakable brokenness that was hinted at earlier, so… I must have missed the crazy Karas stuff that was gonna make the tournament a joke and all. Either way, it apparently didn’t win the tourney, whatever it was.
Still a good showing, of course. I’m just a no-name around here, but my Congrats to both, if they happen to read this.

My buddy has been playing Ken since the game came out, I have a harder time beating him then i do Karas. Ken has so many mixups. I’ll try and get some vids up of us playing sometime so you guys can see how top tier Ken is.

That’s what I’ve been saying since the Kubo/Gian video… As nice as it is, it is no more ‘broken’ for Karas than for some other characters and offensive use of MC has been known about since James Chen’s video of the 5x rep of Karas’ chain combo which wasn’t long after the game came out.
Seconded on the congratulations and looking forward to some more Sinsation videos. Hopefully with a cameraman who wants to watch the match as much as the crowd.

well i’ll post my Ken gameplay against 1 of my friends i’m also helping develop his playstyle so you can see ken on a safe stance always and judge if it isnt at the highest tier even so i was starting to use him(like a week) before recording.
