Well IMO I don’t take online play seriously. So many factors come into play when playing online, but it should help you to learn new gimmicks.
I really wish this game would let you see inputs in recordings from offline and online matches.
By the way, online warrior (Ace unlimited, who eliminated NYC Fab in Grand Final) just won NEC today, so don’t lose hope.
 NEC13 was pretty much the online warriors’ coming out party. So many good online players placing extremely well.
Also, nerf Jin.
And Jun.
XD
Well, that depends on the quality of players you have available to you which is why this place and TZ are good for finding sparring partners, ESPECIALLY if they have a mic so the two of you can workout together.
I was doing some throw training with someone in practice mode a few eeks ago. For the most part, it went well, and I got to try out different teaching methods.
Whoa, wait, it has an online training mode?
Yeah, it’s under Player Matches. I was very thrilled to see this in as this means I can test up matchup stuff.
This has online training? This is delicious.
Anybody willing to help me out with how to ukemi and tech grabs tonight?
 I would, but I has no mic. D:
I beg to disagree. Yes you can find some good people online but once again lag is a big factor into the game. Hence why if you find a good people offline that would be the best bet.
Offline beats online any day, but if your options are limited for whatever the reason, online’s a godsend. Beggars can’t be choosers.
True. I’m very thankful to live in Dallas and to play players like Jop, EP, Jaeger to play all the time.
Vs Hwoa, you really have to know his strings. Some strings go LH and if you get hit with the low you HAVE to block the high. However if you block the low you can WS punish the high.
In most cases you can U/Fn4 into a combo. Like Asuka could more than likely get U/Fn4 1+4 2,1,1+2 b!
ABOUT THE WAVE DASH DISCUSSION!
The reason Wave Dashing is important is because it closes space extremely well while still maininging a mixup (INSTEAD OF JUST RUNNING FORWARD)
Uses:
- Closes space
- Allows for a mixup (EWGF_Throw_HS_Mid Launcher either from WS or ff)
The pressure applied isn’t exactly what most people think of as pressure. It’s pressure in the sense that it forces people to play the way you want because it allows for such versitility. Meaning you can’t whiff against someone who has a cancelable crouch dash (Kings, Bobs, Mishimas) This is especially true versus Mishimas and their i13~i14 safe as fuck launcher from range 2 or range 3. It was said before but you only need a couple crouch dashes at once since that’s the range you want to play in.
As for the can’t electric without doing a crouch dash motion? What about Kaz??? f:d/f+2 <---- PEWGF no crouch dash motion there, only his feint step.
The only time you can just WD WD WD WD WD WD WD is after you have done something that puts them well beyond range 3 or as a mind game and that’s all. It’s like going into AoP and canceling over and over again with Ling. It’s not COMPLETELY useless but it’s not extremely effective unless you’re opponent’s head explodes from all the animation changes.
That’s my two cents. More than likely most people will agree.
Additionally all of this can be said for BDC as well. You’re not going to BDC BDC BDC BDC all the way across the screen. You’re going to sit in that special range where you want them and then CD/BDC to maintain that space.
Double post
Hey guys.
I plan to buy tekken tag tournament 2 for xbox 360.
I am quite new to tekken, the last tekken I played was tekken 3 on PS1, which is many years back, so I have absolutely no knoelwdge about actual the tekken community and comon knowledge.
Is there anything I have to know regarding the xbox 360 version? For example no traffic, bad netcode, input lag, bad port of the game etc?
What means the U in TTT2U ?
Are there new versions (like the many versions in blazblue) which are comming out in the next weeks? I dont want to buy the game, when the next version comes out in a view weeks etc .
And are there beginners online (europe)? I dont know the popularity of this game, I think Capcom games are the most played ??
Thx so far.
The U in “TTT2U” mean unlimited and its for arcades only. The console version already has all the recent updates and it is just called TTT2
 Here you go.
The U means “Unlimited” which is the proper name for the patched arcade version of this game, which is essentially the console version of the game.
No new versions of the game. If anything, a patch or two for major issues and that’s about it.
Good traffic, good netcode, 1 frame of intentional input lag across all systems.
Regarding the port to XBox, Tekken has always been “built for” PS, so I never really put too much stock into other versions, but I have not heard any serious complaints.
There are always plenty of beginners online. I am not familiar with Europe’s scene particularly, however.
wow, thx a lot ! I think I will give it a try now
I’m in the same situation : My Last Tekken was the 3.
No complaint about the 360 version, plenty of players (even in Europe), solid netcode.
Jump on it !
How the hell do you guys deal with the Capos? I always get my ass kicked when I fight a decent Eddy/Christie/Tiger. I use Dragunov, Lei, King, and learning A. King.
