did anyone else find the scene where there are training people to outrun vampires completely hilarious? Has any of the instructors at that camp actually met an actual vampire or are they just making up their vampire fighting theory off of campfire stories.

The telepathic vampire at the end is what I was hoping Sookie would end up as, but I should’ve known it was gonna be someone else first. Also @Sookie being all super cocky in this episode cause she thinks she’s invincible cause she’s protected. When Maryann fucked her ass up in the woods she wasn’t acting all cocky. She couldn’t even scream for Bill cause her ass was getting handed to her so bad.
Lafayette’s reveal is gonna probably happen near the end of the season. All this waiting just cause they know we think he’s so damn cool. If it was anyone else they’d have showed us by now. Like say motherfucking Daphne being turned into a shapeshifter in the previous episode then being revealed in this one. Doesn’t take rocket science to see they’re holding out on us a bit.
As for the church, I think the show is trying to make them look like a bunch of fools. I know people probably think the church does a good job at it themselves, but trying to outrun vampires and stocking up on cliched weapons is a dead giveaway. It’s cool that they’re going through a “boot camp” though. I just think it’s an attempt to depict some weakness while making them out to truly be a formible foe for the vampire community. Same with the vampires. We’ve seen they’re weaknesses in season 1 so I guess they’re trying to balance it out but choose to focus more on the churches apparent weaknesses a little bit more. I wouldn’t mind a handjob from Sarah though

^Oh yea you’re probably right. That shit threw me off because they don’t usually do that on the show and made a big deal out of it with that vampires’ grand entrance. I think they did the super hearing thing once in season 1 early on and that was it. They just beeline fast as shit towards their intended target and we don’t get to hear what they do. It’d be cool if she was a telepathic vampire or if Sookie would just go on ahead and be one.
I just went out and bought the book “Living Dead in Dallas” cause my [Stuckey]simian ass[/Stuckey] couldn’t wait for the season to end. I did ruin things for myself about Jason by reading the synopsis for one of the other books in the series.

I just want to say that Sookie is my LEAST favorite character on the show… in fact, I just don’t like her. She’s an uppity, self absorbed, self righteous, know it all, blabber mouth nag and yeah, she’s cocky as hell now that she thinks she’s untouchable.
It REALLY pissed me off when she went ahead and BLABBED to Tara about what happened to Lafayette even though both Bill and Lafayette agreed that not telling anyone would be a good idea and SHE WAS RIGHT THERE WITH THEM, but nooooo, dumb ass Sookie yaps about it anyway.
Even that ass whoopin’ Maryanne or whoever that was laid on her didn’t shut her up for long. I know They’re trying to make Jessica be the annoying one, but she has NOTHING on Sookie.
I would love to see one of the elder vamps just backhand her through a wall and kick Bill in the fangs as he tried to rush to her aid.
Tara and Lafayette are definitely my two faves right now, although Lafayette is somewhat more humbled after his imprisonment… I was kinda hoping he would get turned though. He would definitely make a “bad ass vampire”. I hope they don’t reduce his character to just being Eric’s bitch… dude has way more potential than that.
Tara just can’t get a break. Sooner or later MaryAnne’s plan for her will be revealed and I don’t think it will end well for poor ol’ Tara.
I agree, that you shouldn’t underestimate the church, especially if they’re the ones who are responsible for Goddrick’s disappearance.
Oh, and I wanna see some werewolves! I hope they are on the same level as the vamps and not mindless savages.

Never thought I would say this, but I am really sick of them wasting time on sex scenes. I fast forward through them every time now.
I never mind when Sookie gets naked. And Daphne gets me hard as well.

Maybe im just tired but this episode did not do it for me at all. I fell asleep yesterday & barely just made it through today.
Sam -Im glad Sam character is starting to pick up, he was all whiny all that crap. Now his story is starting to pick up, yeah i would like to see some werewolves too. Daphne is probably going to betray him somehow.
Tara - Not that interested in her story but very curious about Maryanne’s plan…
Sookie/Bill - Probably the most boring of all the story, its always the same thing with them, i thought the telepathy was going to pick up but then the dude just disappeared. Bills maker hopefully will spice things up a bit.
Jessica - She isn’t annoying & i was hoping she was going to be a little bit more wild, she seem quite tamed now. Very likable character. Hopefully she shows the boobs soon…
Jason & church - My fav storyline, i really like jason & always makes me laugh. I think once Sookie tries to join, they will probably have him choose which side to be on. Cant wait till he does the deed to the Preachers wife…
Eric - I didnt really care for him last season but this season he’s having a pretty good story. Can’t wait to see him battle, he seems pretty bad ass w/ viking story. Maybe he’s suppose to be Eric the red?
