Really don’t read these spoilers unless you can really deal w/it. It’s from some of the books synopises that are right on the back cover. There have been changes for the better from the books that the show does much better while staying fairly true for the most part from I’ve been hearing from around the internet. So I mean take this w/a grain of salt and don’t be salty if you still click on the spoilers. Just a fair warning.

I know a few people have been asking werewolves. I was at Borders last week and browsed through some of the synopsises and in later books there is a weres community much like the vampires. So I’m assuming they might come into the picture some seasons down the road. Anyways Jason becomes a werepanther in the books. [/details]

If you just look at the Wikipedia pages on each book he’s in which looks like one, Lafayette never seems that important. He’s under fucking non-recurring characters and not even recurring like everyone else. He’s not even listed in the characters list for the first book.
I returned “Living Dead in Dallas” to Borders earlier last week and got my money back. I only read part of the 1st page and changed my mind. It kept dawning on me that a number of people’s posts online within the Tru Blood community were saying the show is much better than the books. I also decided I didn’t want to ruin the entire season for myself after all.
Oh yea there was a retarded vampire named Bubba in the books that the TB community seems to love. He was actually the real Elvis as a human but was turned by a vampire morgue attendant. Apparently he will not appear in the show according to interviews with Alan Ball. You can read about him too if you do some searching. He’s retarded because he was turned into a vampire too late and was only slightly alive. He wasn’t a retard as a human though.[/details]

If they seriously go the route they did in the books and make Sookie/Eric the endgame, people who only watch the show are gonna be PISSED.
I don’t know why but the sex scenes in this episode made me . I’m sorry but Bill and his maker “boning” while that woman bled to death had and the orgy had a comical feel to me. Right when you saw Tara and Eggs roll up on the orgy, I said to myself “Ah Shit!!” and started laughing. Then we I saw “Black eyes” Tara getting bang my reaction from this…:wtf:…to this…:looney:. And Maryann must really have Sam shook because I thought the bamma would turn Kuma on her ass and take a swipe out of crime. :lol:
I can’t see how Sam is going to escape this without some powerful backup. But there’s nobody left around for that 
I think Sam will make it out somehow. The knife and his reaction is just simply fancy editing to build suspense for something else. You can see how he escapes in Amordien’s Youtube link a few posts above [media=youtube]N0U472eKTQs"[/media]. As she chases him you can see Sam’s arms turn into wings and he flys off with Maryann looking upwards at him later on @1:22. So it seems clear he does escape from her.
Aaah, didn’t notice that in the preview. I just figured she’d take neccesary precuations since she knows he’s a shapeshifter, and not give him any room to escape just like that.
Sookie kinda gave a little hint during that scene in the preview as he’s running when he asks why is Maryann going through all the trouble to get him, she tells him “she can’t control you.” She can make him change forms, which seems contradictory, but I guess she can’t control him in the way she does everyone else by making them go all black eye. So I’m guessing he’s a rogue of some sort and she can’t accept that for some reason or another.
Marianne vibrates. Stops when Tara spots her. Then she goes back to vibrating!
