I used a hole saw for 24mm button or the imperial equivalent (can’t remember off hand)

No the official microsoft xb360 are not common ground. The earlier version usually with the black trigger are non-common at all (RBC of xbox-scene calles them matrix version) while the late version has a common LINE (RBC of xbox-scene calls them CL version)

So bencao and toodles came up with a solution on how to create a common-ground with this. I guess this is why toodles only supports dual modding of his cthulhu and madcatz pads only (my guess)

Finally finished my stick! Dual mod (MC Cthulhu & Madcatz 4716 pad), Imp, LS32, Seimitsu clear buttons and headphone jack. Tried for a mirror finish but it didn’t turn out so well so I just painted over and left it as is.

No need for any wiring pictures, it’s really not the prettiest sight. Still waiting on a button order from akihabarashop to fill the last holes, but it plays fine without :wink:

I realized that I never posted my finished stick in this thread. Here are the pics.

These links lead to pics to the first stage, before I got any artwork. It was a clean white layout. I didn’t embed the images because they are too big.

And below is the completed stick with art. The clear/white buttons have been swapped out with blues and oranges. Also, the clear bubble-top was replaced with a light blue meshball top. I ideally want a blue bubble top, but I’ll have to wait until Akihabara ships it.

Hi Tuna,

A quick question… did you put a hot glue on your buttons so that it won’t rotate whenever you play with it?

Nope. The buttons don’t rotate at all. They seem to fit quite snug and never move, especially since I screwed in the nuts pretty tight.

However, some artwork spins around when playing, but that’s only the ones that I cut too small.
