Oh, damn. Yeah, I just finished checking that out. I was wondering how the top plexi stayed on, I had no idea that the screw-ins were necessary for that reason.

Also, I shoulda known that Happ buttons wouldn’t work, just from looking at all the pictures of finished boxes.

Now I gotta find someone that retails Sanwa screw-ins. I wonder though, are screw-ins easier to find than snap-ins, since I figure a lot of people need the snap-ins for SE sticks?

Unfortunately, if you are waiting for Joe’s japanese parts ready box. According to his lates post there may not be a 3rd run … so unless you are already in the 2nd you may have better luck waiting to see if Joe can come through with the happ design.

snapin vs screw=ins: Both are ready available (well for the time being LL and AKI are temp closed. There are others but I have only purchased from those 2 etailors).

The SE can use either becuase of the thin metal plate. But for Sanwa’s, their snap ins have a higher variaty of colours. i.e. their new black on black from akishop

checking out the other Toronto box maker… his design accepts snap-ins… and since i am guessing you are getting parts from him you might as well get the box :open_mouth:

Im interested in a case as well, but I have some questions:

-Whats the shipping to Germany?
-Whats the height “inside” the stick. The 360-padhacks seem to by pretty bulky.
-80 CAN$ includes stick case, primer and plexy for the artwork right?

So I sneaked onto the list then? Sweet.

Even though I’m not really playing much SFIV lately, stick building has been a fun project. I dunno if I should hate or thank Mad Catz. If I had got a TE stick I don’t think I woulda bothered with making my own stick, even though modding is pretty fun.
