I’ve seen pics that looks like the LS-32-01 would fit (the one with the S-plate and wiring harness), am I just mistaken?

If you check the first page of this thread you can see that the box is using the Seimitsu LS-32-01. It also fits Sanwa JLF’s.

What is the shipping price to Edmonton, AB? I’m interested in a box.

Random question, but will this case take a SANWA JLF with an S plate versus a flat one?

Thanks,

http://www.gremlinsolutions.co.uk/gremimages/ls-32-01_super.jpg

edit… sorry i was having a brain fart last night… the case works with this LS-32-01 S plate

-joe

hmm. so it takes the above pictured mounting plate? i’ve got the plate from Modchipman’s site. doesnt look like that.

this one http://lizardlick.com/images/for_sale/joysticks/jlf_p1.jpg

jlf flat plate works fine, i have it.

ok cool. was worried there for a second. thx.

Are there any pros or cons with using the S-plate versus the flat plate? I assume the only difference is that the S-plate raises the shaft a little higher. Would that be the only difference?

I have having a brain fart last night…

the case was designed with

the JLF-P1 flat plate for the JLF

the SS S-plate for the LS32

I have not tried with the JLF s-plate but looking at it, it looks too tall to fit under the plexi glass

So, to my understanding, these boxes only support Sanwa screw-ins, but not snap-ins? How thick is the top? Is there a way to modify the buttons without touching the box to make snap-ins work?

Also, I know everyone hates on Happ buttons, but is the box tall enough for them?

Sorry for all the questions, I’m just planning on ordering arcade parts and the retailer I talk to only carries snap-ins and Happs.

For snap-ins, you’ll have to drill grooves on the sides of each of the button holes. I believe there are pictures of someone who has done this already. You’ll have to modify your top panel.

Here you go. It is also linked in the first page.

Dremel mod to make snap ins work. You will still need 2 screw ins.

This box will NOT support Happ parts. Aside from the 2nd batch of sanwa/seimitsu Joe was in the planning stages of designing a happ box.

Confirm with him.
