I have a ton of vids, but they’re about 9 months old, man. But that shit still has the top tiers stompin bitches.
Just like Sabin said, that f+A is the move to use. Shit, it can be used as a mild anti-air too. Opponents can’t jump while he’s doing it anyway, it keeps you grounded.
That move is messed up. Don’t let Billy’s get started with that.
obviusly you dont play enough to know anything
and does your arcade even have 2002?
Ha, Arcades here in MExico got it in every corner :pleased:
and what i am telling you is what i PERSONALLY THINK ARE GOOD. ANd trust me Yamazaki and Mature is TOP tier if played right.
I only Said Angel and May Lee are so so in 2002, i did not say i did not know how to play with them.
And i can tell you for sure, that here in Mexico they LOVE using:
RALF
O.Yashiro
Vanessa
Clark
Yashiro
Chris
All you fools are funny, anyone is TOP tier in this game if payed by me. :badboy: :nunchuck: :arazz:
Maybe we can get some USA VS MEXICO KOF2002 matches going on soon. so that you can see what i am talking about
At SBO I think only 3 teams qualified without him on there. And IIRC, at least one had Benimaru, his “counter character” (By that, meaning not having a 7-3 matchup or higher lol). I think Korea has banned Duolon. I might be wrong though. Japan never did though. He’s ban worthy IMO too.
Mexico vs. USA… that might actually be a neat idea… too bad no one actually plays KoF in the US lol
I simply feel that saying “everyone is top tier” is inherently wrong in itself. Unless the game is uber duper balanced (KOF sure as ain’t that way most of the time in my experience) it doesn’t warrant that. I think it has more to do with skill than tier. I think the original post is based on the question of rough tiers. So “ABC” is it, as far as 2002 is concerned.
Then you my friend don’t know who are the best in KOF. Really, not to be riding on whatever people say, but if you compare the Mexicans playing style with anyone else, their movements are a lot more fluent than any other countries. They play this game like a religion.
hanz0 I would like to take your offer on that one. The Mexicans are the only people I still haven’t had the pleasure of fighting with. If what you’re saying is true, then that is good. But since I have no money to go there yet anyway. Hehehehe
these people are INTO. and I mean, INTO KOF. They are just amazing at this game. I played him ONCE, and I’m not to shabby, and it was like trying to steal the pebble from the hand (first time).
Chinatown Fair, Bitch. Represent. KOF may not be the most popular series in our arcade (coughMvC2coughTekken5cough) But we do get skilled players now and then.
Damn, you wish that was true. That’s why everyone’s slamming your ass down, but agreeing more or less with what I say.
Uh, yeah. We have 95, 96, 97, 98, 2000, 2001, 2002 and Neowave.
What you think is true, and what is ACTUALLY true, are two different things. I’ll take my Choi against your slowbies anyday. :karate:
Not correctly, obviously.
Hey, that’s nice. They’re all good characters. What’s your point? You still don’t play them.
Wow shit boy, better go deflate your head before it pops.
Actually I did on my other comp. But that was from when it had barely came out. It was a guy with iori vanessa and kyo vs angel kula and billy. Shit Kof 2k2 is a pretty balanced game imo, Cept for the ones that are annoying as fuck, you can win with pretty much anyone. Like some exhibition matches I saw with chang yama and takuma. Damn those koreans.(Or were they japs… Ah who cares they all look the same) Btw ive also seen some kof2k1 vids and I’d say kyo was pretty strong in 2k1, he had comboability(not really a word but who gives a fuck) into the strikers, which is an advantage imo, Anyone know where I can find some 2k1 matches?
Lol, I have no idea. I just got back to the city last year (2003) and I don’t get down there much lately. I usually wear all black, have my head shaved, and play Bryan with T5 and Joe, Hibiki, Cammy in CvS2 if that helps any. Little DDR here and there.
Oh, don’t mind me, I’m still in Okinawa, I’m not planning to be back in the city for a few more months. =p Last time I was in CF, niggas just put DS in, and heads was gettin mad hyped over it(some jackass was teaching Wong shit in it, I think the same day Wong was fucking around with 2I Sean shit).
Um…I was being serious. I wanted to get a few games in KOF with you sometime at CF.
Kaneda, yeah, EVERYONE is playing T5 here now. 2 cabinets right in the middle of CF…it’s bizarre to see this many people playing. Of course, since I don’t play Tekken like that, I don’t know if anyone here is actually good or not…but to my knowledge NYC has never been that good in 3D games (outside of VF?)
