TN Thread: Dolls, Tekken Noob Bowl, Bawse Battles, MWC EVO Quals .. whachugot?

Please be advised this MM comes with a waiver of liability that must be signed prior to the match. You must also weigh at least twice her weight (she weighs about 80 lbs, so 160+) so you have some sort of chance. Also, if you want Faith to stop kicking your ass at some point, you will need to provide her with a tasty elk antler!! LOL

We’ll talk about this at the tournament

So much Tekken was played tonight :open_mouth:

@Abe
GG’s in our Tekken 62 match set (i wont say the final count haha). Your Marduk is scary. I need to break throws though. Im not used to having to actually break throws since in SC i usually duck throws anyway and ducking throws in Tekken feels harder.

@Mike
Bet you’re happy someone else got on the tekken train haha. The only reason i didnt start playing sooner was cuz of evo last year. To much Bob. The Asuka mirror was fun, but im convinced that if you picked the fat man id be beat soundly haha.

So that 5v5 Tekken team? Yeah i want a Spot on it haha.

And yeh dax be jealous of my Arkham City Controller haha

A weekly tournament happening, a “Fight night” if you will, every wednesday at night in Memphis?

Sounds exactly like what Memphis needed, I was wondering what I would do on Wednesday nights!

All is right with the world.

We’re looking for a decent turn out, considering there isn’t much of a casual gaming scene in Memphis. We need somewhere to play, train, and meet up with people who all share a common interest, not to mention food and alcohol! If you guys know any female gamers, we’re looking to start a female gaming league for Memphis.

There have been anywhere between 15-30 guys that come out regularly to the Fight Nights these last few years. I’m interested in seeing how things turn out with you guys. I wish I still lived in Midtown, that’s for sure. I would have loved driving five minutes down Madison to play Street Fighter. The current venue everyone goes to is Mid-South Tournaments and Games in Southaven. They hold their fight nights on Wednesdays as well.

Yes it was, that would be Faith as you can see she loves it when people sit on the floor lol.

@Brinson’s Gaming: Is there anyway your fight night can be on a different night since there is another weekly event being run on the same day?

Now accepting money matches in Balloon Fight. Get rocked son.

Guy I’ve never seen post comes out of no where to post up about a fight night on weds and that Memphis has no scene. Didn’t see Tek or KANG on that list of games see you guys at T&G weds

GGs to everyone in AE, KANG, and Tek last night. My Tek sets with Mike and Abe were too fun. Dat Cartwheel

I know playing ranked matches doesn’t really matter to you guys, but I just won my 1,000th ranked match in AE! (1,000 - 169)
I’m gonna take my dogs out on a 2.4 mile walk instead of 1.2 mile one to celebrate!

You don’t want this.

Been there done that. That is why we took it out of the arcade from all the gambling.

So SNK decided to help people in the King match up specifically if your Goro though the teknologicals work with other chars too

Enjoy, people that hate King :wink:

Just won a MM?

Celebrate by doing this lol

so, with peeps studying for graduation and all that…trying to figure out when would be the best time to have the LAN gathering at my crib… :X

Some time in July?

That would be best for me at least. I won’t be doing anything til the end of the semester.

We want to have a environment where memphians don’t have to drive to Southaven to have a great fight night.
@Severin-X I’ll have to talk with the rest of the group to see how that would work out. I don’t think it would be a problem to switch out days; but since the venue has a dubstep dj on Wednesday nights it would add to the gaming atmosphere.
