Aight Josh, lets get real here man. You want to Money Match me because you figure I am easy money. And thats fine. But don’t say you want to MM me because of the way I represent myself here. That is not true homie. In fact I have stopped issuing MM challenges. The MM I participated in Wednesday was a challenge issued to me that I accepted.

I mean, I just find it odd that we have four solid players here in Memphis that can play just about every game played here in the state, and out of those four, two of them LOVE money matches (Majin and Shin). Yet when they roll through and challenges are issued, silence befalls the thread. Marcus comes in here and challenges Pat and he only has $10 to do a match. If that I had been me, any amount I mentioned would have been agreed to because “Im g’teed” paying up.

And PLEASE read Josh and Sev’s post again for some more real talk. lol

But yea Josh I don’t see the benefit of you playing me outside of getting paid but I tell you what, since you seem so eager to MM me, I will play you in either SF4 or SF x Tekken. You choose and you can pick any character you want. Get paid kid, get paid.

All you other Nashville slaws can get bricks! I’m doing no more challenge matches! Lycan is hungry though. Feed him some MMs! And maybe some tortas!

GG’s in our Tekken 62 match set (i wont say the final count haha). Your Marduk is scary. I need to break throws though. Im not used to having to actually break throws since in SC i usually duck throws anyway and ducking throws in Tekken feels harder.

Bet you’re happy someone else got on the tekken train haha. The only reason i didnt start playing sooner was cuz of evo last year. To much Bob. The Asuka mirror was fun, but im convinced that if you picked the fat man id be beat soundly haha.

There will be casual super street fighter lV gameplay along with street fighter x tekken , marvel vs. capcom 3 , and mystery game of the night! In honor of our opening night, everyone is free to play and have a good time. Food is available for purchase, and alcoholic beverages at the bar (21 and older) all ages are welcome, 21 to sip and play! Hope to see you there!

We’re looking for a decent turn out, considering there isn’t much of a casual gaming scene in Memphis. We need somewhere to play, train, and meet up with people who all share a common interest, not to mention food and alcohol! If you guys know any female gamers, we’re looking to start a female gaming league for Memphis.

There have been anywhere between 15-30 guys that come out regularly to the Fight Nights these last few years. I’m interested in seeing how things turn out with you guys. I wish I still lived in Midtown, that’s for sure. I would have loved driving five minutes down Madison to play Street Fighter. The current venue everyone goes to is Mid-South Tournaments and Games in Southaven. They hold their fight nights on Wednesdays as well.

We want to have a environment where memphians don’t have to drive to Southaven to have a great fight night.
@Severin-X I’ll have to talk with the rest of the group to see how that would work out. I don’t think it would be a problem to switch out days; but since the venue has a dubstep dj on Wednesday nights it would add to the gaming atmosphere.
