More like they can’t run when it’s falling down to their knees. That’s why so many brothas getting caught by the poeleeese!!!
somewhere in indonesia all the hype-beasts are crying
Seriously, you’d think they’d know that pants down to your thighs makes it hard to run from cops.
Ask Barack Obama about the healthcare bill.
wait…their are black people in canada? and their not drake? my mind is blown.
You’re aware that not having healthcare is – bah, forget it.
Dr. B’s semen heals all that ails, which is why I have herculean stamina. Yes homo.
It was a law forced in against the will of the people, bro.
Where does that come from? I could have sworn that reform was one of the major points that He ran on. I am not exactly in love with Obama but A group of middle age to old white people waving guns in a town hall do not a majority make.
Where was this will of the people when the man was talking about single payer. Most of america thought that the bill was too fucking weak to be worth a damn, me included.
I love how everyone is acting like Obama stole the damn election and people did not actively ask for half of the shit that he has brought to the table.
God, thurst.
Now you’re just being lazy with your posts.
 Even if true, which I doubt, the will of the people isn’t always benevolent, and comparing healthcare to archaic laws designed to shackle women into traditional roles incompatible with reason is foolish at best.
I spent the last five minutes thinking of a Dr. B quote and the best I could come up with is something to do with how when he writes a prescription, his handwriting is legible.
There’s no real grey area here (nyark). Poll after poll by even the most liberal outlets all showed that the majority of Americans were against the healthcare bill. Whether or not you are for or against the bill has no real bearing on my quip.
::sigh::
Not only do you not know the ramifications of the bill in question, you also don’t know the feelings of the majority of Americans on it. You’ve no place in a discussion on the subject.
You are correct. It just seems like lumping the people in favor of true healthcare reform who hate the pitiful bill that was passed with the people who wanted no changes whatsoever just strikes me as a spin move.
i own skin tight leather pants
i should not wear tight pants (I also don’t).
still love em though
I gotta say, as someone outside US politics, I love the republicans on the internet/tv since Obama came to power. So hilariously drama-over-the-top-outraged at everything
Obama is a communist! We should revolt! Obama is the devil! etc
And in this thread: Obama would institute sharia law if asked to. Obama betrayed the people with the healthcare reform.
Really now, he’s a communist yet he would gladly add crazy laws based on religion? They seem kinda incompatible, since communism is anti-religious. Opium of the people etc.
Doesn’t sound like a bad idea in certain parts of the world.
You won’t take away my tight pants!
As long as it is something like limiting access to fatty foods, such as not selling them in restruants and/or stores, I feel I can live with that. They didn’t say that you cannot have it, only that we (The buisnesses) Will not sell it. Hopefully, that’s all it means.
-Starhammer-
I could live in a country with public decency laws. But I would want to know something about the government agency that would be enforcing those laws.
Thank you for the link. But some of her comments, especially about moderate Muslims only staying Muslims (instead of converting to a brand of moderate Christianity) because they don’t understand the contents of the Koran, seem somewhat naive (as the article hints at.) I thought that most moderate Christians stay Christians in spite of the contents of the Bible, not because of it.
Just because I’m curious, I want to know what ramifications you might be referring to? How a dominant political party, controlling both the executive and legislative branch, might be free to abuse their newfound power?
Also, equating the majority opinion with “the will of the people” doesn’t really make sense to me. Can such a thing as “the will of the people” be said to really exist?
jesus christ, is the rest of the world obsessed with america as much as we’re obsessed with ourselves? how did this thread come to this?
i’m glad i live in a reasonably secular democracy and i’d probably be miserable in any sort of religious state
That’s a WRONG hat trick, champ. Though while we’re making bullshit assumptions about each other, you’re a child molester, and I’d explain, with a translator on hand who can speak Bitch, why it’s really, really fucking stupid to make bullshit assumptions about people, but I’m not going to explain myself to a goddamn pedophile.
It’s too bad you didn’t specifically single me out for being Canadian and, in your own batshit retarded logic, incapable of understanding the workings of government in the country directly south of me (like we all know you’re thinking), because it would have been hilarious to see RoninChaos stomp your ass around some more. Not that I think he could do a better job of it than you do to yourself, but still.
I can’t truly know Dr. B because I’m not him.
