Tiers for non-fighting games?

ImFamous

Good>Evil

Nades and Sniper shot are too good with the civilian assist!

plus the ending makes more sense on Good.

Good is better when everything is maxed I agree.

Easier to keep going since lighting bolts restore energy and several of the higher level powers are just far better like the Megawatt Hammer having homing capabilities.

Evil is fun for mindless destruction though.

good thing I was training him up to be good! :stuck_out_tongue:

Does anyone know tiers for Final Fantasy Tactics A2 - Grimoire of the Rift?

Classes in general? Builds? Races? :wonder:

Races and their melee and magic builds. Because i read somewhere that your character gains different stat depending on the class they use.

Yep they do, for instance if you were leveling as a parivir your human would have a monstrous ATK stat. But the downside is that he’d have shitty defense, alternating between lving up as a paladin fixes that because paladin has good defense.

Races

High:

Verra: Verras are deadly, especially those blood prices summoners. They’re frail, but absolutely needed for the battle field. If the assassin class didn’t catch a nerf, this race would be god tier. Looking at the classes, they are very unique. Double Shot got boosted, so Sniper is something to consider. Red Mage has impressive lving stats and support, fencer is a good early on atker, and green mage is another great supporting class. Spellblade is horrible, but Blood Price is too good to pass up.

Humans: Another versatile race. Double Sword remains a must, and now you got elemental blades you can work with. With geomancy it’s pretty much an instant kill, plus you get the bonus of adding a status effect. Blue Magic is always fun, though I don’t recommend any of the other mage class. The Nu Mou do it better. Hunter got nerfed, and thief did too. Not good, but the fighter class remains very decent. It sorta makes up for it. Paladin has great defenses and guard abilities, take advantage of them. Parivir are VERY strong, but weak defensively. LV up between a Paladin/Parivir for a very balanced/well rounded unit.

Mid-High:

Bangaa: Bangaa are great in this one. Most classes are pretty useful, they just take a LONG time to achieve/unlock that’s what hurts them. White Monk is superior, probably the best starting class in the game, and Master Monk just an improved version of that. Don’t be fooled by Trickster, combined with Ultima Magic you have a deadly unit who can throw ā€œUltima Cardsā€. The rest of the old classes are about the same really, I know some people like Cannoneer - I don’t, however.

Mid:

Gria: Gria aren’t bad per say, they can cause incredible damage if trained right. There’s not a lot of classes to work with, and best avoid the Geomancer class like the plague. Sneak Attack is good because Gria can fly and have great movement to get behind lots of things. Some people go for hunter though, Sidewinder does excellent damage to monsters (and this game is like 75% monsters). Defensively I dunno any class here that would help, if at all. Gria are just great attackers, every team should have at least one.

Low-Mid:

Seeq: People thought this race was gonna outdo the bangaas. So wrong they were but Seeq aren’t completely useless. Traps are very good in some maps, good offensive power, very bulky. Not a lot of classes here, like the Gria they suffer from lack of versatility. I’ve only seen people use Seeq for Mirror ItemxPotion = Reverse Effect. It’s good early on to cause like 400 damage to stuff, but it loses out mid-game when you get better classes.

Low:

Moogle: Hurray for gimmicky jobs! Because that’s like all you’ll find here. The gunner abilities are useful as a flintlock, and smile is nice. But that’s it, really. Chocobo Knight is crap, Mog Knight gets outclassed by Human Paladins, weak spell casting. Moogles are hard to fit on teams, they can never seem to find a slot because they’re so weak.

Nu Mou: Seriously, the summoners just outclass everything the Nu Mou can do. They’re good early on and you’ll need a spell caster, but after that the going gets tough for this race. Halve MP or something is a must! Nu Mou are already slow and can’t afford to wait several turns to gain access to top notch spells! Beastmaster sucks, but it’s probably needed for a Blue Mage. Really, the spells are just too big. Stuff like 28MP…you’ll have to wait like 2-3 turns to cast that fucking spell, and your Nu Mou is just useless unless he uses an elixir or something. He’s getting his ass kicked while everyone else is fighting hard, not worth it.

That’s it for the races I think. I’ll tier the builds later (at least the ones I know about)

Pretty much this. Some classes are better than others, but none of them suck.

class tiers for Dragon Age origins

Well, you get 2 classes, and some are better together than others… I haven’t even tried all of them yet personally, but people’s opinion seems to be something like this:

God: Arcane Warrior

  • Reportedly basically pretty much the best at everything with the proper stats and talents… and you can combine it with either of the second best ones.

Top: Spirit Healer, Blood Mage, Templar, Champion

  • Overall just more useful than the ones below.

OK: All Rogue ones, Berserker

  • Rogues are bad under CPU control regardless of tactics (the CPU sucks at backstabbing). If you control them, they are better, and can do huge damage. You might still want one for lockpicking. Berserkers are good, but Templar and Champion are more useful except for all out pure damage.

Crap: Shapeshifer, Reaver

  • Shapeshifter is just horrible. Mages are pretty much the best in the game, so you get a power that turns your mage into a below average fighter who can’t cast spells, and takes ages to activate so people get to pound you while you are trying to transform.
  • Reaver, totally ineffective compared to the other possibilities, some skills reportedly give you disadvantages instead of anything good!

Rogues can possibly be better, or maybe already are, but there are some glitches which do not let them use DEX based weapons properly, and as said the CPU sucks so if you want maximum efficiency out of them you have to control them all the time.

This thread is so Funny! LOL

Golden Axe 1:

Top: The Green Dwarf
Mid: The guy in blue
Low: The girl :stuck_out_tongue:

More soon! jejeje

Actually^ for GA1, the guy in the blue is bottom. It goes the dwarf (because he can infinite), the girl, then the guy.

Reasons why:

Attack frames: His attack frames suck. Period. His dashing attack can’t even hit enemies off screen, the girl and the dwarf can. This is huge for them because they can knock a lot of enemies coming onto the screen into nearby pits. In some boss levels, it is still possible.

Magic isn’t good: It may seem good but it’s really not. The girl can hold down more levels and do the better damage with lesser spells held. With him, he always has to max out or come very close to it.

Can’t infinite: Or maybe he can but I haven’t seen it. I don’t think the girl can either, but I know she’ll still top him in the long run.

Has there been tiers done on Star Ocean 4? I know SO 3 has been tiered to death, but I hadn’t seen SO4. Thanks!

Gunbound Tiers, go!

:u:
Last time I played, I’m pretty sure boomer was top tier, but with all the updates and all that recent shit…I have no idea. Haven’t played it in forever.

I think the boomer and kalssidon are top tier, the damage that those cars can do is ridicoulous, but are difficult to master. I also think that bigfoot and the car that throw mines (the yellow an red one) are bottom. Its pretty difficult to tier gunbound lol

LoL. Bigfoot was for the super noobs…it was only good for bungee maps and stuff like that…especially bigfoot with the shovel upgrade thing. It dug huge ass holes.
