Tiers for non-fighting games?

The only thing that really surprises me is Tabitha not still being above Isabella. But I haven’t played that game in what seems like years now so w/e.

Neither have I (okay, I lied, I played it a few days ago for the first time in like six months). I’ve just been reading developments on the game from time to time. Interesting to see how the metagame had developed.

There were three main phases as far as the community was concerned:

One: “Let’s play this like Dual Strike!” Pretty much why Tabitha was top.

Two: “Holy Crap! Artillery is the best unit in the game!” Gage was just under Isabella at that point. Will was bottom of Fair due to not being able to power up artillery.

Three: “Mech Rushes actually rock this game!” Tabitha takes a nosedive (she can’t stand up against mechs), Gage drops from Overpowered to top of Fair, Will makes a solid jump up.

It was tough to be a Colts fan in the early 90’s!

Anyway, Rockin’ Kats Weapons

Top: Twin Balls (range) and Hammer Punch(powerful, but you can’t grab anything, still very good)

Mid: Jet Sneakers(useful in some areas), Bomb(not necessarily bad, but it’s never as useful as the other weapons)

Low: Punch Glove(not bad in the grand scheme of things, but there’s no reason why you wouldn’t want to use one of the items)

has anyone else played through r-type 3: third lightning? swear to god it’s only beatable with states saves…

has anybody given a shot at a tier list? I’ve only played through with shadow, and now both the other FDs seem unexciting.

WHats the tier list for arcanum?

of steamworks and arcana?

magic > tech

but tech is more fun to play.

and low intelligence ogre is the downright funniest shit in the world.

Any tips? I’m new to this game

And also any tiers for heroes of might & magic V

ro sham bo/jan-ken/rock paper scissors official tier list:

god tier: rock (everyone goes scissors first)
mid tier: scissors (everyone goes scissors first)
bottom tier: paper (everyone goes scissors first)

Bonus: coin flip official tiers

top tier: heads, tails
garbage tier: side

You guys don’t deserve it but I’ll give you my ultimate tier list.

I present to you the official monopoly token tier listing

god tier: Wheelbarrow, Top Hat, Dog
high tier: Guy riding horse, cannon on wheels, thimble
mid tier: steam engine, shoe
low tier: car
bottom tier: iron, cruise ship

Note: unofficial (based on my recollections through a year of playing monopoly during lunch hours in undergrad :stuck_out_tongue: )

Actually, on every US coin except the dime, the Heads side is slightly heavier than the Tails side and therefore has a slightly higher chance to land face-down. The difference is like .001% but nonetheless, Tails > Heads unless you are flipping a dime.

Are you kidding me?! The car is God tier, man.

gundam vs gundam next

top tier: exia, wing zero, double X, shining
high tier: god, master, V2, gundam, turn A, freedom
everything else tier: almost everything else

schrodinger’s tier: epyon (is both top tier and bottom tier at the same time)

captain commando
top tier: mack the knife, longer reach, faster attack, covers more area in air. A+B desperation move can move around and last longer, but can hit enemy when you don’t want to.
mid tier: captain commando, fast, heavy attacks, the flame throw has longest reach, A+B desperation move knocks enemy down (especially useful for last stage), punch too short.
low tier: baby head, good range, strong damage, punch is fast; but punch is too low, not good for anti air and jump A very difficult to cover ground. weapon is hard to use, since the robot stretch its arm too far.
lowest tier: Ginzu the Ninja, punch range too short, air cover range too short, does not cover enemy air kick, handicapped when using some weapons (like hammers), and lose score due to ginzu can’t take ninja stars for money.

Coh blaster primary pve tiers.
Top
Fire

Mid
Sonic
Ice
Archery

Low mid
Energy, Assault Rifle.

Low
Elec

Shit
Psi

Tales of the Abyss
High:
Guy
Tear

Mid:
Jade
Luke

Low:
Anise
Natalia

Tales of Symphonia:
High:
Kratos
Zelos
Lloyd
Raine

Mid:
Regal
Presea
Genis
Sheena

Low:
Colette

Presea is one of the best in the game.

Crowd control is insane with huge damage and once she gets the glory ability and the ability to do more damage by charging her attacks it’s GGPO.

Her, Raine and Lloyd are on another level with Zelos/Kratos just behind them.

As far as Tales of Symphonia, Colette is one of the better characters in the game. She has a mindlessly easy infinite with Angel Feathers and I believe she can also infinite with Para Ball, but I’m not sure since I haven’t played the game in a year or so. She is lacking early on since a lot of her good moves are learned through advancing the plot.

Persona 4 Arcana Chance upright position tiers

S
Judgment: SP is a valuable resource, so getting full SP is automatically top tier.

Priestess: saves you the trouble of guessing what the enemy’s weakness is.

Emperor: Can’t argue with free Player Advantage.

Moon: Double EXP

Temperance: Double money.

A
Magician: Early on, this card is beastly since it levels up a skill. Its usefulness degrades in the late game, since your Persona will have max-level skills, and you definitely don’t want to risk getting a reversed card. The other issue is a random Persona’s skill gets the increase, but you can transfer the skill to a stronger Persona later.

Death: Same as Judgment, except it reduces your HP to 1 and boots you out of the current dungeon. Not a big deal, really.

B
Empress: great card early on, but once you start getting skills like Cool Breeze, Victory Cry, or equip some gear that regens HP, this card’s usefulness goes down. Free HP restoration is not bad at all though.

Hierophant: At first, I thought this card eliminated the chance of getting reversed, but it doesn’t. It’s still possible to get a reversed card, but Hierophant will block the effect.

Hermit: This is useful if you want to find the stairs quickly, but it won’t reveal all the enemies or treasure. The other problem is that you might lose track of where you’ve been already.

Tower: free money when opening a chest is all good, but the effect doesn’t last very long.

C
Lovers: this one is a toss-up. It will eliminate the red shadows, but on the other hand, those red shadows give good EXP, more money, and better items.

Chariot: Permanent stat increase is great, but which Persona gets it is random. The way to make this more useful is to keep a small list of Persona, but that’s not very likely.

Justice: same as Chariot

Hanged Man: Same as Justice

Strength: Same as Hanged Man

Fortune: Same as Strength

D
Devil: Not worth the trouble. Transforming a Persona isn’t a big deal, since the new Persona starts at its base level and only has its default skills. You run the risk of changing one of your good Personas into a crappy one.

Star: If you’re good at picking out the cards you want, this card is worthless.

Sun: Same as Star. Doesn’t get rid of penalty cards.

Can’t really tier the Fool card, since it just turns into one of the other cards.

Meh. Other characters have infinites and honestly she isn’t useful till later on. There just isn’t much reason to use her when she is slow and her attacks are awkward.

Add moneybags to shit tier. Thing goes to jail every time. The car is mid tier and the thimble is Jesus tier.
