Frog also has that new item that raises critical rate and cuts MP usage, which makes him better in physical attack damage, and more conservative with MP.
Yoshi is also slow on the draw(yes, much slower than Bowser), so he handles crowds poorly. I might put him in High, though, because of his Egg Lay being such a powerful move, especially since you can follow up with dash attack, A combo, f-smash if they donāt die from Egg Lay alone.
The best character in The Subspace Emissary is Bowser. He does absurd damage with the Flying Slam whiff, clears out crowds with Whirling Fortress, and does absurd damage with his wicked smashes. Heās also much more maneuverable than most people think(again, thank Whirling Fortress), and it takes bosses fucking forever to kill him(if they can even hit him at all).

any tiers for neverwinter nights 2?
what, pure classes? because debates about the multi class stuff could go on forever.
still kinda early but if somebody thinks they can do the fire emblem shadow dragon tiers iād like to see them.
Pure classes
are their tiers for Fire Emblem 7? The 1st one in America on GBA. I always liked Marcus and Oswin.
GameFAQs has their endless debate on tier lists for all Fire Emblems. Hereās their current one for Hector Hard Mode:
Iād say itās pretty accurate, though I would put Priscilla in the same tier as Serra, and I think Kentās slightly higher speed and slight edge in durability should put him just above Sain.

Matthewā¦why when i played with him he was like a burden Nils and Serra too? can someone explain?
Matthew is almost required to get a 5-star Funds rank due to him being the only one who can get the Silver card. No 5 star Funds rank = No S-rank for HHM.
Nils/Ninian basically acts as a copy of whatever character you most need at the moment. Allowing your best character to take a second turn every turn = Top Tier.
Serra has at least a six level lead on the rest of your team (due to Lyn Hard Mode, and there really isnāt a reason not to play LHM before Hector Hard Mode) and sheās always the first one to be promoted. Leveling is hard to do in Hector Hard Mode because experience vs. level is scaled down horribly compared to normal mode, so a character who can get experience constantly without taking potential exp away from other characters (almost everyone else has to attack and kill to gain exp) is much desired. Plus, she has healing, and you need a healer.
@Jion: Are those for white, or for black?
^ I donāt get it :wasted: what does that mean?
Ike is bottom? I thought heād be at least mid: all his smash attacks have great crowd-control and do tons of damage, and he does have some good moves that are also quick, like AAA and u-tilt, plus all of his autoguard moves, like neutral B, AND heās a heavyweight without being a huge target. Is he just too damn slow, and sucks in the mobility department?
Exactly. Bowser has fast attacks and Flying Slam/Whirling Fortress which not only compensate for his slow movement, they break him to high holy hell. Other slow characters have something going for them a lot of the time, but Ikeā¦not really. Jigglypuff might be worse, but Iāve actually done some pretty amazing shit with Jigglypuff.
Wow, on the PSP version they nixed the combo spells?!
Anyway you have Dias way too low and the mages way too high.
After Disc 1, Celine and Leon are effectively and absolutely pretty much obsolete. The ONLY reason to ever use them with the party after that is because of the Anti spell or to freeze time (which in itself is only useful until your fighters become strong and fast enough to keep the enemy in hitstun) and you have Rena for that plus healing to boot.
Noel should only be a notch above them because of the Bloody Armor trick.
Dias is good for only one reason: AIR SLASH. Near zero-startup, fast as hell, and ZERO recovery. That one reason is all you really need.
I would never have been able to beat Unlimited Indy at around Level 180 without Dias. The only problem is against some flying bosses in which case Claude is indeed the better substitute.
In most cases, once your party is around Cave of Trials I would say Dias(leader), Opera/Ashton, Chisato, Precis/Bowman is a better party than Claude(leader), Opera/Ashton, Chisato, Precis/Bowman.

Looks kinda top tier to me, dude.
Maybe I did have Dias a little too low. Still, I donāt think heās top tier⦠Air slash is good but it requires a KM and I donāt feel like it keeps them grounded that well. Claude you donāt even have to bother with, give him the eternal sphere, remove both his KMs and let him run wild with his normal attack and he will go beast mode. The sparks from the weapon are absolutely beastly and, even if blocked, will force enemies to stand in place and block them all, preventing them from getting any offense going (REALLY IMPORTANT against unlim indy / iselia). I didnāt even control him once he got that weapon, I found it better to control Opera so she can run around and heal and use alpha on one to track the enemy and force them to stop moving, which is why you need her. Bowman and Chisato with the weird slayer have badass multi-hit KMs and will leech life on each hit, meaning you really donāt need to worry about them much either.
And yeah, I canāt get the combo spells to work on the PSP version. As though the mage characters werenāt bad enough already⦠But other than that I really dig the PSP redux, the voice-overs and new art are both really great, it emulates perfectly smoothly (even better than my computer PSX emu), and thereās some new content⦠Oh, and itās portable. Shit yea. Iām trying to unlock universe mode on it when Iām not playing HDR/SF4⦠they removed the stupid sound collection unlocks, now itās based on how many battles youāve fought. I wish there was some way to unlock it straight from the get-go though, I donāt want to play halfway through the game just to restart it on Universe.
I beat the CoT by giving Claude the ES or levantine sword and letting him run around like the wild animal he is, giving Chisato 10000 volts and tear gas and the weird slayer weapon and just using items to make sure her MP stays up, giving Bowman the weird slayer and explosion pills, and then controlling Opera to keep the group safe / alive. Itās incredible, when theyāre all pounding away at an enemy even super-bosses like gabriel will tend to just get stuck there for minutes at a time. I could see switching out Bowman or Chisato for Dias⦠but not Claude. The man is still a beast.
The tier list is made with the thought of getting an S-rank in Hector Hard Mode. Basically, the characters who do this the easiest are high or top, and the ones who can easily hurt your rank and/or bring nothing to the team are bottom.
To get an S-rank, you need to get a five-star rating in each of the five categories: Combat, Experience, Funds, Tactics, and Survival. If you get a four-star in even one of them, your rank drops to at best A.
Matthew is tops because no one can do what he can do, and thatās pretty much guarantee that you will get five stars in Funds. Heās the only character who can nab the Silver Card, which reduces all prices in shops by half. Plus, heās your only thief for the first half of the game. Getting five stars in Funds without him is ⦠difficult, to say the least.
Nils/Ninian gives your best character a second turn, every turn with their Song/Dance ability.
Serra has healing plus a level lead over everyone. Also, because sheās a healer, she doesnāt need to be in combat to gain experience, so sheās not taking away potential EXP from other members (killing enemies means less experience left for other characters). Priscilla does basically the same thing, except she has movement plus way faster supports at the cost of being several levels lower, which is why I think she should be in the same tier as Serra (albeit below her).
