Tier lists are opinions and they are lighthearted. People play games differently and tier lists are more about expressing how we enjoy the game our own way. I don’t have a problem with your list but of course it makes more sense to you, its your list. Don’t be a dick about it and say your list makes more sense like I don’t know what the hell I’m talking about.
I really wasn’t trying to be a dick but I guess I was a bit too confrontational. I disagreed and explained myself. Sorry if I came off like an ass. It wasn’t my intention to belittle your opinion. I probably could have been a bit less argumentative about it.
You play any other Kirby games? I was thinking of picking up Kirby 64 again and pulling together a list on the various combos.
Oh, an apology, good stuff. Not many people actually apologize but continue trying to argue. I came off a bit argumentative as well.
I’ve played kirby pinball for gameboy, kirby’s dreamcourse, kirby dreamland 3, and kirby’s dreamland for nes briefly but I never felt drawn in enough to finish any of those games like I did Superstar. And finish that game plenty of times. I will one day, but having a game capture my imagination for me to spend even one hour in it is rare nowadays.
Kiby 64 is actually pretty neat. If you never tried it, try it. You can combine abilities to create a bunch of cool combos. The only problem is you don’t get all the cool moves like you do in Super Star and there are only about 6-8 base abilities like Dream Land 2/3.
For example, combining cutter and fire gives you a fire sword. Combing ice and spark turns you into a fridge (hahaha).

any have the C&C tiers? for all the games?
very 1st CC should be GDI>NOD
ammirite?
I take it you’re refering to Command and Conquer, but nowadays, C&C could be interpreted as another game, so you are talking about Command and Conquer, right?
Tiering the bosses in Metroid Fusion by difficulty:
Top:
Nightmare
Upper:
Ridley-X
Serris
SA-X
Yakuza
Mid:
Omega Metroid
B.O.X.
Lower:
Mega Core-X
Bottom:
Core-X
Nettori
Pogo
Arachnus-X
This is just my experience however.
Omega Metroid could easily be top, as if you have bad luck, he could get you in a series of swipes which, y’know, does a lot of damage. And I’d say Nightmare should be below SA-X, because SA-X’s first form has some BS damage on the spin attack if you get hit by it. Nightmare is overrated.
yup the game with NOD and GDI.
BTW CCRA2YRtiers
god-Yuri
B tier-russians
C tier-americans
Nightmare, to me, was the hardest boss in the game. Omega Metroid, you just have to be quick on your feet, and the SA-X was easy as pie, just do the Daytona 500 trick.
The only boss that approached Nightmare in difficulty was Yakuza. In his second form, Yakuza was sporadic as hell and damn near impossible to predict.
Are you crazy? Nod >>>>>> GDI for these reasons:
-Nod has Light Tanks, which move quickly and have a fast rate of fire.
-Nod’s flame units, especially the Flame Tank, are brutal against pretty much anything on the ground.
-Nod has Obelisk of Light, which is hands down the best ground defensive structure in the game.
-Nod has Stealth Tanks. If I remember right, they aren’t detectable by any units until the tank attacks.
-Nod has Artillery, which are much more accurate than GDI’s rocket vehicle unit. They also do area of effect damage.
-Nod has nukes, which decimate your base…GDI’s Ion Cannon only hits a single target.
are you crazy? Nod couldn’t get half of that shit setup in time before GDI tank rushed that shit!
anyway
X-Caliber 2097 vs mode
top:Dr.Blast morph,Spuke

bottom:Kane
This is a big thread…have there been any Valkyrie Profile/VP2 tiers?
**
Valkyrie Profile**
S
Lawfer: This one’s easy. His super is too good, especially if you give him a powerful weapon, like the Dinosaur. His standard attacks are also good, no matter which order you use.
Lenneth: She’s the only character who can use a bow and a sword, and be proficient with both. She’s also the only character with a variable super. Bow Valkyrie is useful for most of the game. Normals are great in any order.
Freya: Extremely powerful normals and super. She’s just very slow, and her super doesn’t add much to the combo gauge, which is why she should always go last in a super chain.
A
Lucian: Your goal is to land the Shining Bolt, and that’s basically it. It’s a multipurpose move, whether you want quick access to supers every turn or if you want to farm for EXP/treasure. The only reasons Lucian isn’t S tier is because his super isn’t that great, and you have to give him up if you want the best ending.
Brahms: Powerhouse. Amazing normals, great super. The only reason he isn’t S tier is because the damage of his super varies depending on how large the target is, and also where Brahms is standing (being at the edge of the screen is no good).
Belenus: His normals are straightforward, making them easy to connect with. Works well with just about any party setup. His super is very powerful, and also very cool to watch.
Janus: Best archer in the game, other than Bow Valkyrie. He’s the only character with a normal that causes a status ailment. His super does decent damage with the right bow, and it adds a ton of energy to the gauge.
B
Arngrim: His normals are OK, although Wrenching Swing tends to miss enemies who are knocked down, as well as small enemies, reducing his effectiveness. His super is very powerful and it adds a ton of energy to the combo gauge, but it also adds a lot of Charge Time (CT).
Aelia: Her super is toned-down version of Freya’s, and her normals are decent. Lawfer beats her in every category, though…there’s no reason to use Aelia if Lawfer’s in your party.
C
Jayle: Her attack patterns are awkward…I find it hard to connect with her attacks often, and her super will miss against flying enemies. She’s not a very strong fighter overall.
Suo: Awesome quotes. His best attack pattern is to start by attacking the enemy from behind, while everyone else attacks from the front. Not a strong fighter overall, and his super requires setting up the target in proper position, or else all the hits won’t connect.
Jun: He has a weird fighting style, making his attacks hard to connect with. His super is nice, and does some decent damage with the right weapon.
Badrach: Weak damage output. Super is crap. What saves him from D tier are his normals. He can break the enemy’s guard, and he can juggle like nobody’s business. If you don’t have Lucian around, he is great for farming.
D
Llelewyn(sp?): Weak. His super can potentially do decent damage, but it depends on the size of the target. Otherwise, not worth using.
Grey: He looks like he should be S tier, but when you start using him…:shake: Everything about him is weak. It would’ve been great if his attacks froze enemies, since he was all about the glacial blade. I believe those wisp things that he releases on one of his normals are unblockable, which is handy.
Kashell: Everything about this guy is annoying, especially his fighting stance. But overall, he just isn’t a great fighter. OK normals, bad super.
I’m ignoring all the mages, since they’re the same. I’ll do the VP2 tiers another time, since it’s late where I am and I gotta work tomorrow. But what do you all think of the VP1 tiers?
I always thought Jayle had really straight-forward normals that were easy to use (or mash if you wanted to) so shrug. Her PWS isn’t too bad either, at least it’s quick lol. Not the best but I like her.
As for mages, Gandar is probably the “best” out of them in that he starts with good stats at lvl1 so you can potentially get his stats maxed well… but really, he’s a mage and mages are more or less the same (CELESTIAL STAR)
You’re even trash at action games…that tier list proved it.
**The Chaos Engine (Soldiers of Fortune in the US)
**
**High tier:
**
Preacher
Pros: First Aid, Shield, Freeze, weapon does high damage and affects a small concentrated area and always passes through, quick to upgrade, fastest run speed, low hire cost
Cons: Lowest life, cannot open exit B on world 3/3
Gentleman
Pros: Attract Monster, weapon always passes through, quick to upgrade, fastest run speed, low hire cost
Cons: Low life, cannot open exit B on world 3/3
Brigand
Pros: Attract Monster, Molotov allows exit B on world 3/3, great weapon coverage and good damage.
Cons: Weapon takes forever to upgrade
**Middle tier:
**
Navvie
Pros: Molotov allows exit B on World 3/3, great weapon coverage and damage, high HP
Cons: Low speed, Weapon takes forever to upgrade, dynamite does not leave behind money when used.
Thug, almost full weapon upgrade
Pros: Molotov allows exit B on World 3/3, huge damage per shot, high HP
Cons: Low speed, takes a long time to upgrade, weapon does not pass through enemies.
**Low tier:
**
Mercenary
Pros: First Aid, Bomb allows exit B on world 3/3
Cons: Weapon has high spread and does not pass through and deals low damage
**Bottom tier:
**
Thug, full weapon upgrade
Pros: Molotov allows exit B on world 3/3, high HP
Cons: Takes a long time to upgrade, Weapon spread is so high he cannot hit things in front of him consistently. Makes him very hard to use in World 4 where enemies have lots of HP and often appear in narrow hallways.
OK, here are my tiers for VP2 (story characters only):
S
Rufus: He’s an OK fighter in the early game, but in the late game/Seraphic Gate, he is incredible. Once he gets the Razor attack (forgot the rest of the name), combine that with the dismember skill and a weapon that raises criticals, and you will dominate any enemy in your path. The Razor skill also adds a ton of hits (you can get 999 hits with the right setup), which is great for supers and EXP farming. Rufus is the only character besides Alicia that gets an upgraded super later in the game.
Brahms: He has a really great move set and an awesome super (both in terms of damage and style/looks). What brings him up to S tier is that his weapons drain life from his targets. Combine this with the sealstone that doubles healing effects, and he?s pretty much unstoppable. Brahms also has multiple base resistances as opposed to one resistance for the other characters (except Valkyrie).
Freya: Once again, she is S tier. Incredible move set, and her super is still quite powerful, though it?s now a 20-hit super as opposed to one large strike. She no longer has to go last in a super chain, though it?s still recommended.
A
Arngrim: Strong super, and with no CT to hinder him. He has some good normals, including one that causes status ailments, which is always a good thing for any fighter without magic.
Dylan: His Heavyweight attack does incredible damage. Whatever attack order you use, this move should always be in his arsenal. His attacks lag a bit, but his super is decent.
Valkyrie: Basically a powered-up version of Alicia, with the added bonus of multiple resistances and no elemental weaknesses. Her super can do tons of damage with the right setup.
Hrist: Great normals, and once she gets a certain weapon in SG, she becomes dominating. She?s the only character with a halberd.
B
Lezard: He?s the only story character who?s a pure magic-user. He?s got some pretty strong attacks, but no healing spells except Evoke Feather. Fire Storm hurts real bad. His super is all right…it?s not something to rely on, but at least it hits all enemies. His true potential doesn?t show until the Seraphic Gate.
Alicia: She?s a balanced character who doesn?t specialize in anything. Her normals are reliable for most situations, and her super varies throughout the game. Her ability to use healing magic helps a lot.
Lenneth: she plays a lot like her VP1 counterpart, except she can only use swords now. She has a lot of spells at her disposal even though she isn?t a mage.
C
Silmeria: The weakest of the three goddesses of fate. Don?t expect to use her over someone like Rufus.
D
Leone: She sucks. Her moves are weak, and her super is crappy. Not much more to say about her.
Are you reading my post history just to flame me? Wow. Did jerking off to photos of Mark Henry get boring? Poor dear.
In other news, I’m thinking of coming up with a tier list for Super Smash Bros. Brawl: The Subspace Emissary. Given that most of the enemies don’t have the requirements that normal Smash characters have in order to kill them, I’d imagine the tier list is pretty different.
CF, Charizard and Zelda are god tier in SSE.
Charizard? What does Charizard have that’s that good in SSE?
Granted, I haven’t gone past hard difficulty in that, so I don’t know. I’ll agree on CF and Zelda, though. I think Marth, Sonic (for the speed), Fox, and Wolf are all pretty good in there. Ike, as long as you don’t get swarmed, or if you give him a flinch resistance boost, can be pretty deadly.
