Good stuff everyone. Great turn out, in the end we got around 16 peeps total. Didn’t get any pics this week as I had to step out for a minute to handle some biz, but Jetay and crew clued me in on what went down while I was gone. Some good stories, sorry I missed it. Did make it back just in time for the first Bomberman game and a series of matches with Alix and AJ. Thanks everyone for making it out, good times in the Portland scene right now. See ya soon

We should figure out a better way to help teach people stuff in game. Or something. I did recommend to samY the levelup method of playing, I think we really just need to figure a way to help everyone fix the holes in their game, lots of people are really close to each other in skill we all just need to fix those problems and play a much tighter game! Woo. I don’t know Im tired probably more rambling I hope I can come again.

This. We didn’t get to it this week just 'cause every one was playing and kicking it, but still need to get that training set up going. That’s the first most obvious way to go, you just sit down with someone that is observant and wants to give advice (say Ross, Y, Simon, Jetay, Mack and so on) and they breaking it down for you upon request. That sometimes happens when matches are being played, but with people rotating in and out it’s not exactly focused. The series of matches I had with AJ using Fei were helpful, but that was because it was the end of the night and there wasn’t a line of people waiting to step up. We actually got a minute to chat about the match ups and options. More of this. Anyway, that’s a start. This doesn’t apply to Bomberman btw, as Yangsing won’t give up any secrets anyway. Every man for himself in that f’in game.

Yes it is. It’s politics too son. I laughed last night when I heard G effect spit “hey _____ let’s team up and tear these guys down.” I used to use the same tactic back in the day, then when it got down to 3 people left turn on my “teammate” before he turned on me. Mad politics. Of course everyone teams up on the guy who is winning, but there are hella games you can run before that too. Art of war bitches.

here’s a suggestion:
MORE FUCKING SETUPS, to level up four isn’t enough for over 10 people.
you’re always going to have people that want to play casuals and that detracts from leveling up.
ideally, you want to run a first to three, discuss the matches with your opponent, then run it back in order to give them a chance to implement what was discussed.
