You think I have time to test out combos? Bitch please, I go in BLIND
First of all, you’ll never play online against Justin or Daigo. Scratch that, you’ll never play against Justin or Daigo period.
Second of all, I’ve been into Street Fighter in general for less than 2 years, I’m playing a brand new character and I’m winning online just fine, so it seems to me that the competition so far has been mostly scrubs that allowed me to learn what works and what doesn’t. On occasion I will run into someone from SRK and either win a close one or get my ass whopped.
One thing is for sure, sitting here and bitching about it isn’t making you any better.
Yes. I would want to play against the best, at their best.
When I was just learning SF4, back in late 2008, I spent a couple of weeks with Justin getting my ass beat. I was using Abel (gasp a new character) against him and other players who had actual SF4 experience. By doing that, I was able to develop a lot quicker than other players, and without a lot of the shitty scrub habits.
Playing better players going 100% is by far the best way to train. This is in any scenario, be it with a new character, in a new game, or with your established mains.
If players are gonna cry when they lose online, they should just stick to arcade mode.
Fuck man… when did SRK get so bitch?
People are… Playing to win… In a fighting game.
Sweet Jesus someone call the presses. D:
Also if I fought Diago/Wong for just like two matches that would probably level me up so much. The trick is to stop thinking about the fact you got bodied, but rather how and why you got bodied. Just crying to yourself at night that you lost and don’t know why does nothing. Also, this is why I’m going to love the new replay feature so hard, because I can look back and see exactly what I need to improve on.
Imma send out some friend request today I am getting amped up at work wanting to fight back w/o words =)
I understand the point you guys are making i agree and disagree i guess thats my opinion tho so that settles it.
HAV and Colino i’d like to have you in 2 in a SSF4 room later on today for some matches if possible.
Thank you for your time and for keeping my time going here at work haha
one thing you improved on is your attitude, this is the first post where you dont sound like a complete douche!
colino still needs work though, back to training mode!
I can pretty much guarantee I’m not gonna accept that request. If you want to play, send me an invite, and we’ll play if I’m on, but I have no interest in cluttering up my list.
wow, cool dude here, watch it!
3 snaps up in a triangle motion!
Yes
The first time I played Blaze Blue at a casuals session I got beasted on by some Guy’s Taokaka, I literally couldn’t do anything for the first 7 or so matches. I played him for about 20 games and by the end of the session I learnt how to defend against his mixup and managed to execute my combos several times. I still lost but I made big progress and was able to put up a fight.
Whoa no need to be so arrogant as if you’re that important to be on my friendlist haha, i would’nt mind playing you is all so yea if you’re online how im suppose to know if you’re not on friendslist? so main reason for the friend request wouldnt be to be friends but to actually see if you’re online. my list only has street fighter players on it people who i dont even know, actually nobody I know in real life owns a PS3 everyone is on xbox.
Hey why don’t you take your stupid shit to PMs. Thanks.
I don’t play on PSN except for rare occasions, but thanks for the offer.
Because your opinion of me is my absolute priority, please don’t call me a douche, it hurts my feelings.
I am at that level of play where I realize that I only learn things by being beat by players of that calibur at their absolute hardest. I can see what they are doing to me to punish my options and what doesn’t work. A regular player like u sees nothing but the fact that they got mauled. You dont see the spots where your attacks didn’t work and the ranges your moves didn’t work. All u saw was an episode of DBZ.
Just play out scenarios in training mode and you’ll be fine when u go online. You’re still ultimately fighting the character in the end and if u know what works against the character’s moves then all u have to do is apply it. If u don’t then u get mauled again.
lets take it to the mean streets of boston. LOL
Yeah, this thread is way too important to clutter with nonsense.
BTW, I’m not trying to be a dick… I just have no interest in having somebody that cries about losing online on my list. Sorry.
I’d say One piece DBZ is played out.
just because I post about somthing that bothers me should’nt give you a reason to judge my style of play or if i just completely suck. everyone has their own way of doing things if you feel completely confindent that I suck go ahead and send invites and i’ll gladly accept to defend my status. I get outta work at 5pm eastern time zone.
Aint no crying here brother its just posting while at work, and in game its another story so yea keep on with the stereotype bs that really pays off
Just to get back on topic;
Things I don’t like about SSFIV: It’s still SFIV.
Not trying to be a dick here but I’m pretty sure that what you just said is what we call being a dick.
