Things you dont like about SSFIV

A few things here that I dont like but not really important I just thought I point them out.

Gief said to be nerfed but yet he still does massive dmg.

Sakura takes massive dmg now and seems she’s kinda weaker in general. ( still can win matches but have to play safer )

I noticed now when you jump in with w/e move it is you want to start your combo lets say Jumping HK the recovery time on the character who took the hit is much faster and if you dont react fast they will be able to block your combo that you were just about to land, or mash DP and piss you off. ( slight difference but i need someone else to test this out i know its not just me that see’s this)

Whats up with viper? they made it harder (for me i guess) to do down firece thunderknuckle cancel into down firece I can still do it but its not as accurate as it was in SF4. I’d like a reply on this by others if having problems with it.

Dont like how they ruined Gens jumping, he jumps like a retard now and jumps so high up people can wait all day to DP you.

FUCKING SAGAT OP as ever! this mother fucker can still trade with his DP > F HK > into ultra ( i thought they took that shit out ) another thing i want to add about sagat is that his moves come out so fast. not his special moves but normal moves come out really fast like if he’s from super turbo.

my only complaint about endless battle is that when you pick 8 people to be in the room and you end up losing you have to wait 7 more games before playing again. ( I personally make the rooms to support 5 people with 3/5 rounds )

Color 12 is distracting I think everyone can agree with this, the color just does’nt fit into the game, anywhere you look on the stage there’s no color that goes with color 12 so its very distracting to the eye.

This complaint is in general and not directly reflecting on SSF4 but what the fuck we just got the game and we want to play with new characters, why in the hell would people go straight to their main toons and fuck everyone up in the endless battle room? Seriously if i pick my main i have a better chance of winning, but I want to be able to play online with new characters and enjoy them not to get owned by M Bison / Ken(dp masher) / Ryu(dp masher) / Sagat(dp masher/tiger knee masher). ( I guess this is the way I feel and play with the characters that makes it such a big issue to me but i see other people disagreeing with me on this )

Trial mode is back and better then ever, but yet they ruined it by when you press select it brings up a screen with the moves instead of switching the text in the current screen you’re on, I know this was mentioned earlier but i wanna agree with the people who bought this up.

I had the game since last friday and been having a blast and really enjoying it, i think its a great game and very fun to play, they are a few things that have come to my attention that i dont like, but its not like it totally ruins the game. I still need more time to adjust to SSF4 and learn to love it as much as I loved SF4.

I guess thats it for now.

Thank you

Are you sure? Can’t you put private slots on, and then in the settings set the slots to a specific team color? I thought that you can set your team’s color and then send game invites to friends to have them fill in your team’s slots.

You can set your teams.

Some people are just stupid.

Agreed, this is very NON street fighter.

I can’t see much of an argument for people using new characters online whining about fighting other people’s mains. The game has plenty of offline options tailored toward becoming proficient with characters before taking them online to play competitively.

Offline options are not real challenges you cannot compare a trial or training dummy to an actual real fight. I understand what you’re getting at but what you are suggestion doesnt offer the real training you need which is player vs player, not player vs dummy.

Umm… you losers should want to fight others’ mains with your new characters. That’s how you’re gonna learn to play. Toying around with new characters, against some other guy that doesn’t know how to use his character isn’t gonna help anyone. You’ll just pick up shitty habits.

I guess that’s how most of you train though…
:shake:

Agreed.

I gotta say though, it is nice playing with my main without having to play Ken, Ryu Ken, Sagat, Balrog Repeat.

Please tell me what the difference is, other than you like to whine.

Funny how someone is quick to call people losers as if they were’nt speaking for themself, eveyrone loses and we all know that, however my point is who the fuck gonna learn anything if they just dominate you. Im not saying play sucky people but you can be a good player and play with any character maybe not the best but its possible and fun too. I mastered all of SF4 roster now they are 10 new ones on the list. everyone likes competition so thats good but for casual play you’re seriously thinking of just destroying people trying to learn in and outs of a new character? You want competitive play go to ranked matches where you know you want to pick you main to win. My complaint was’nt against ranked but towards endless battle just wanna clear that up.

Wow.

A trivial complaint is that they didn’t make any color changes to the old backgrounds. Feels like I’m playing the same old game with some dlc.

This game is so much better than the last one that I litrerally have nothing to complain about. Gameplay wise it’ll never be the game I wish it was like the other SF games but got damned is it a lot better than that herp derp crap I was playing before.

About Viper’s fierce feint fierce cancel…you have to delay the feint input a bit longer than u did in Vanilla.

:shake: :shake: :shake:

Yes, loser, I am telling you that if you want to level up your characters, you are much better off playing people proficient with the other characters. Back in the day, when you wanted to learn a new character, you played at the arcade… There was no “go easy on me” rule.

Again… trying new characters out against people that suck with their characters is a sure-fire way to develop shitty habits with your new character.

QQ More.

You have to lose tons of games to learn a character. I’m playing Hakan now and I’m not doing so bad.

Also, Flowchart Juri is the new Flowchart Ken.

I hate having to wait 20 more minutes before I can pick this up.
No midnight release, no early copies. Portland dropped the ball.

Mainly I’m bummed I missed the early release. I heard the competition level was good the past week,
Which I probablly missed out on and have to play in scrub city population: Ken now.

You can learn the basic basics of a character just by messing around in the training mode. You don’t need someone to go easy on you to figure that out. Just put the training dummy on record and see what u can/can’t punish and whatever else. The only way you’re going to make your new characters strong is have them put out in the ring against the big guys and learning to deal with scenarios. If your new character is getting beat up by the players who have been sticking to Ryu and Dictator since February of last year then that’s great. All u need to do is adjust your gameplay with the new character and experiment and see what works. I don’t want anyone doing anything but going their absolute hardest against my Ibuki regardless of the character. There’s no way I’m going to be able to train her to be as good as everyone’s old mains if people don’t fight their hardest so I can find ways to counter the holes.

All you’re worried about is seeing what moves do what with your new character since u have no idea of where to place any of them. Go in to training mode first and figure that out before u go online. See what buttons of your character beat other character’s buttons and experiment. Use the same tactics that people were using on you online and put it on record so u can experiment.

But it’s so haaaaaaard, why aren’t things spoon fed to me :c

What’s a “Training mode”?

So my question to you is would you like to fight someone like lets say Justin Wong or Diago vs your new character, and have them go ape shit on you while you try to learn? are you seriously thinking you’ll learn to adapt with the asswhooping pwnage thats at hand? MAKING IT CLEAR HERE not saying play new characters against sucky people or people who are also trying to learn, what the fuck im saying is stick with your main for ranked matches dont be a duche and dominate people who are playing for fun not competition.

HAV you should add me on PSN friendslist to get some matches going later on. I have an annoying sagat friend who i need to get his ass whooped help me out =)
