Things you dont like about SSFIV

Ok so back to the topic I did post what i noticed i didnt like in the game so far, if anyone is able to read up on that and comment i’d appreciate it.

Honestly, I didn’t really like SF4.

I started playing Street Fighter seriously with 4, but within a couple of months I switched to Third Strike and almost never came back. With that in mind, I still wanted to give Super a chance and I’m glad I did.

Sure you’re right, it’s still SF4, but I think the improvements are there and they do make the game way more fun. Maybe it’s the lower damage output overall, maybe it’s the new characters, but something about Super just makes it way more exciting, IMO.

that trade ultra wasnt fixed for everyone. either all or nothing!

difference between Player Match and 1v1 Endless:

  1. forced blind picking (no counterpicking; no double random)
  2. no FightReq from Arcade
  3. 1v1 Endless lobbies get lost in a sea of 3-8p Endless; Player Match doesn’t (Always 1v1 unranked)
  4. many people insta-quit when they join my 1v1 Endless Lobby (quick join)

It should be: Ranked, Unranked (Player), Endless, and Team

The people who still have the trade ultra are people with shitty anti air games any ways. What sucked about Ryu and Sagat having trade ultra was that had the best footsies and zoning the game had to offer and all u received for closing the gap on them was risking trade into full ultra. The only characters that still have trade into ultra are characters that have much more glaring weaknesses like being free on wake up (Viper) or basically having no mid or far ranged game (Dudley). Dudley is also free on wake up too.

Yeah I also forgot to mention the one thing I really don’t like is the loss of player matches.

Another thing that really pisses me off is that you can still play ranked matches that are only 1 round. I found some idiot Juri playing ranked with 1 round, 30 second time. Shit’s retarded.

I don’t have PSN and I don’t really take online play seriously either way. Shit is not the same as offline. The jist overall is just I believe in you more than you believe in yourself because I know how small the gap is (in this game especially) between knowing what to do and not knowing what to do.

Haven’t gone through this whole thread yet but I figure I should reply now. My theory is that they may be using the same/similar code to the record match (replays) that they used in SFIII3s (Anniv. Collection). It basically would just replay matches and use the player’s recorded inputs to play through a match. Problems, occurred when you spammed inputs after a round, the second round would start and the inputs would be wrong/off. So, I’m thinking that disabled inputs in SSFIV after the final hit so that they wouldn’t have this issue when they implement the replay system.

Oh please, they’re so easy to unlock now it’s not even funny. After a couple of matches with each character I had the majority of the colors already.
