Yeah, got it today on ps3, had no clue wtf was going on.
I prefer 3 out of 5, I know it’s not the SF standard but it works.
Wow that pretty fucked, good find though.
Also, I noticed I’ve been playing against people with their start color, it doesn’t boot you all of the time. I’m on 360 btw.
PS3 Version: Training with Chun-Li and the game just restarts
I was honestly shocked and thought my PS3 went on the fritz
360 start button kicks for me 100 percent of the time in player matches… Very weird glitch. I always play balrog(boxer) for more information.
on 360 i’ve noticed a few graphical errors…
not bugs per se… but artwork mistakes…
guile’s chest when running animation has some colour mistakes on his chest…
on vega’s far standing mp the stripe on his leg switches colour…
those opening glitches are a pain, it occurs frequently too damnit 3>
I got the static lifebar/round counts after playing several games with the same person in a casual room.
- Play several matches - after a match is over,
- Rematch
- Select chars
- Game starts
Life bar is messed up, and so is the character name and rd count. It only happened on my side, not the other player when I asked (Ps3 ver, didn’t ask on 360). It happened on both PS3 and 360 version - so it’s not console specific.
I dont know what the conditions are for this but it appears randomly. I would start my first match in a player match and it would happen. I would leave and come back and it would happen again immediately. Other times I wouldnt see it for several matches. I really hope they patch this.
Hey, I don’t know if this is a valid “bug”, but maybe an oversight: seems like they forgot to put in the CPU AI for “old” version (“Super”, not “Super Turbo”) characters.
Try it yourself in training mode:
Single–>Cassic Arcade Training mode
For 1p, choose any character in either form (SST/Turbo).
For 2p, choose any character in SST form.
Go into the match options and change the character option to “CPU Controlled”.
The dummy does nothing and the setting has reverted back to “Human Controlled”.
Isn’t this a major oversight?
No this isn’t an oversight really. The same thing happens with SF2:AE.
If you select any old version character there is no A.I. programmed in the game to handle their move list so the game forces you to choose a ST counterpart.
The ST vanilla A.I. was ported to this game, and the HDR A.I. is based on that, there is no data for the O.Version characters from the PS2 or Dreamcast data that Backbone could have used as far as I know.
So no, not really an oversight, just laziness.
Gotcha. Makes sense now. It’s silly not to have any AI for those characters, but whatever.
Cross-posting this from Coast’s own thread because there is a TINY GLIMMER OF HOPE.
^^Thanks for posting that deadfrog. I think we all need to hear SOMETHING from Capcom.
I can’t seem to check the Friends scoreboard ranks anymore. I can see mine and anything else but when I turn the page to my friends it freezes up on me and I have to restart my PS3.
Anyone else have this problem?
Identical problem here. Seemed to manifest itself after I added several more friends, none of whom I particularly want to delete for testing purposes.
Not a bug, but a request:
Capcom, can we have the alternate “old version” costume colors?
If you haven’t explored classic mode, check out the colors by going to Classic versus mode. Select your character with a kick button and select the non-turbo form of your character.
Notable costume colors:
Ryu - yellow headband / cream gi
Ken - fuchsia gi (!)
Boxer - orange gloves / green boots
Guile - more realistic looking camo
Seems like something easy to add. Maybe hit all three punch buttons to get this color or something.
Jesus. This is just as bad as the media blackout for SF:HD during it’s development. Instead of doing the right thing like posting “We know about the PS3/360 bugs and are working on them” on the Capcom Unity blog, someone has to randomly find a “meh, we’ll get to it eventually” post on eventhub.
That’s been happening since the beginning of december.
And that’s fine. If someone wants to start up a 3 out of 5 quarter match then more power to them. But Ranked should follow arcade rules whenever possible. It even makes less sense due to PS3 having the correct best 2 out of 3 ranked matches.
It also sets a bad precedent, making people think they should do nothing but best 3 out of 5 quarter matches with 6 players :annoy:
I had this weird Glitch on Xbox Live
It was the Infinite Wins Glitch in Ranking Match!
What happened is that once I face a player in Ranking Match and they OK the match, you only see a black screen with the character select song playing in the background, and it automatically disconnects the opponent and I get a free win.
I noticed it gave me wins when I try to fight any opponent 6 times with the same glitch going in a row, and I saw my wins in Ranking and it gave me +6 wins.
It will continue to give you wins until
- You exit out of the game completely
- The game crashes
lol if true on infinite wins
