Warhammer is coming to the PSP too…in card for that is.
Necron are indeed the bullshit. well you probably faced a commander and his elite set because he shouldnt be able to get flayers that early.
I will now bestow apon you important information when fighting the Necron.
If you can with Tau get Kroot asap. they are your only melee unit that wont get pwned easy by necron melee.
Also as soon as you destroy their startup army do not at all worry about taking out their Resource points. If you want to serve Necron a really bad blow to resources you take out their electrical nodes. Thats their only resource.
Also the only unit that can capture nozzles for necron is the scarab builders. so if you tear them up early game and keep them in check you keep necrons from building and caping points.
hope this helps.
(PS: Dont leave your base unguarded when you killed the necron lord in your base. he will just resurrect right where he died.)
Yeah I noticed that about the Necrons…when I looked at the minimap, I noticed that there were stil red dots, and that the Necron Lord and Spyders were still in my base laying there, so I left some FW’s and a Kroot team.
I realized that I’m not powerful enough yet to knock a race off the game…however, I’m now having problems with the Eldar. Halrequinns owns my Kroot team, while Farseer and Banshees slaughter all my ranged units.
I got a plan though…
I have been meaning to post in this sort of thread for a while. I have the Tau codex and a couple of battlesuits as far as 40k goes, I never got around to building up.
Fantasy wise I really enjoy Mordheim, witch hunters are fun.
I also have 100 skinks which I have yet to employ completely in pitched battle.
But my favoritest thing Warhammer related ever is still Bloodbowl for some reason. I can play that all day. I may have a problem
ive been wondering what bloodbowl is about. i know its like warhammer table top but its like some kind of fatal sport situation right kinda like mutant league genesis games.
heh yeah, its football with warhammer races basically
Bloodbowl is great, I love that game.
Come to think of it, I love most of the Specialist games. They’re always a step up in quality.
Any of yous guys ever mess with battlefleet gothic? I like the custom ships I saw a lot of people making but I was wondering how the rules are since I’ve never actually played it. That and I am pretty sure anything I made would turn out like crap, I am the suck at putting pewter minis together.
BFG is a great little game. It’s hard to be competitive unless you’re Imperial Navy or Chaos, but it’s just so full of character and the rules are so dynamic it more than makes up for it.
Apparently it seems that Warhammer: MoC is out already.
Has anyone got it and tried it yet…I’m gonna have to out MoC on hold until I build my new system.
Bah, who needs MoC when Shadow of the Horned Rat exists.
AMBUSH
anyone ever read the 40k comic “Slut Patrol”?
http://www.studiodiesel.com/photos/slutpatrol
its awesome
“I GOT A RAGING BONER FOR THE EMPEROR! I WILL OWN YOUR ASSES IN HIS NAME!”
Man, fuck companies that insist on putting shit on multiple cds.
MoC has 6 of them.
Geese, I’m installing it now. Let you know how it turns out

this tourney has some of the cleanest army paintjobs ive seen. i usually see guys take just like 4 or 5 figures and mod the shit out of them.
i was wondering, has anyone tried out the new rts? is it any good? reviews? anyone plays it?
which RTS are you reffering to?
Mark of Chaos or Dark Crusade?
two totally different rts games.
Is it that I suck with Eldar in DC…or do they just suck in general?
Can only build turrets within building circles…and they don’t look like they can detect inf. units.
Soul Shrine still takes too much req and time to build…and that’s where the cream of the crop is…
Guardian squad can’t do shit now but be fodder for the kroot…
i love the ork imperial guard paint job
FER DA EMPURA!
from what i’ve read i do think my first tabletop army will be necrons. my research has shown that they get the most viable armies for the cheapest price ($$$ wise i mean)
also those green bits look snazzy :cybot:
I want to finish my DIY Marines chapter and get my fluff together for them and everything and get them on the tabletop. I’ve been playing a lot of WHFB, and not much 40k, and I really miss it.
I have a confession to make: Space Marines are my favorite. Now, this may seem noobish, but in fact I’ve been in the game a loooooooong time, and ever since my mother went overseas and happened upon a gaming store in the UK, and grabbed me an issue of White Dwarf and brought it back, I’ve been hooked. Oddly enough, it was the VERY issue Warhammer 40,000 2nd Edition was being released, and came with a space marine and everything. Ever since I laid eyes on the 2nd Edition cover art, done by John Blanche, I have loved Space Marines and the Blood Angels in particular.
I’m really considering repainting my old BA’s, and getting some of the new figs and adding on to them, because they really are where my true inspiration is when it comes to 40k.
I’ve been reading the Horus Heresy novels, just finished the first one and gonna start the second tomorrow, and all I can say is wow. Dan Abnett is great. I love GW’s fluff and all, but Abnett is too good for them, really.
came home with the macragge set, my first warhammer tabletop purchase
just trying to read the rules now and am now thinking i should’ve got some paints too. plastic gray is kinda dull
