No, Choi is like the only ST player who’s never played ST on GGPO.
Errrr yeah I keep on forgetting it’s not a cab, haha. Yeah I can stream on wireless, since ST is a SD game, it shouldn’t take much bandwith. I can always test beforehand with my console on low bitrate.
For the supergun, it uses the standard yellow/white/red cables right to connect to the tv?
Audio is always White + Red (RCA, need splitter)
For video, we have both VGA D pin (onboard has dual output, no need splitter) and S-video (need splitter). The composite (yellow) might or might not work since the chip might only send output to S-video (TV). I can’t test it.
Alright, I’ll make sure to gather equipment to test on my own. My device does accept s-video, although I don’t know if I have a splitter for svideo. So I just need to find a svideo splitter and audio splitter. Just double checking

Does any of you stay at Embassy Suites? (It’s $109 with 3 beds, btw. So if you have a group of 3 or more it’s a good deal)
John Choi told me there will be free wifi throughout the venue, but he forgot to mention that is only for those who stay at Embassy Suites.
We might need your help to get access to the internet for mizuki to stream and to update the bracket online for spectators.

Another small thing I need help with is… I need a powered USB 2.0 hub. I only have a usb 1.1 hub and doesn’t work with all my equipment :<
We got enough supergun LCD and TV.
So if you have psx/ps2 stick/pad, please bring them along. The converter support button mapping and it’s very convenient.
Does anyone has psx extension cord that you can bring along? I have two but we can use two more.

BTW where are you located? I’m not too familiar with public transportation but if you can give more info maybe some of us can help.
Any updates on wifi for me? If anything, if someone has a huge external HD I can record matches on it.
Also, the style of streaming I’d have it, would be like Team Spooky’s stream if you’ve ever seen it. I’ll try and get my webcam working too, if anything I might just use the built in one on my laptop, but would rather use my other one since I can adjust it and the like.
Mizuki, I think a few ST players will stay at embassy so we can ask for their help.
I’m going there friday night around 9-10pm and I’ll test the wifi connection there.
I also have a 2TB USB external HD, but it’s 3.5" with separate power wire (kinda messy). Let me know if you want to use it.

Unfortunately, the notice for this event at NCR came too late for me. I already booked holiday travel for T-Day with the GF & Fam. I looked into rebokking and it will cost me a couple of hundered bucks to rebook. I really wanted to go to this and represent ST. Not to mention my family ONLY lives 15 minutes away.
But, it really comes down to time & money (like all things).
I wasn’t notified in time to properly plan and the amount of money to make it happen is just not worth it. I love ST but I am forced to pass on this one.

Alright, I can bring a power strip to power all the crap were gunna use lol. You have my number, right. Just run a speed test on their net and text me the results so I can adjust my config appropriately. And yeah we can use your external. Lets just hope this all goes as plan. On friday night I will test streaming with my ps2 on low bitrate on my wireless just to see how much quality I can squeeze.
