When I call Poison a thug, I’m not talking about personality. I’m talking about her being a generic low-level enemy that dies in 2 hits in FF, meaning she shouldn’t be on the level of a SF character.
Balrog is one of the most powerful martial artists in the world.
They absolutely shouldn’t be one character.
Ryu, Akuma and Ken are the most popular and most played characters in the franchise.
They get no costumes.

The vega one is a favorite even I am not fan of his character.
SF All Star that would never happen.
Yet I wouldn’t mine another 2D SF fighter with all the sprites from SF3 and SFZ with some from CVS to be in one SF spinoff title.
We are not getting an Everyone is Here type situation with Street Fighter, ever. My point is that your ideals of only having characters who have movesets based around real martial arts and not having any fun outlandish or weird characters is incredibly limiting.
