I feel like this late in the game introducing a new character would be a waste unless we were getting a preview of SF6. G, for example, god damned better be in SF6 since we barely got to see what he’s about for the clear amount of effort that was put in.
While I admit this partly stems from a dislike of SFV, I don’t really trust Capcom to do the character well based on how Dhalsim, Claw, and Falke seemed to do in a competitive setting (though my knowledge of competitive SFV post S2 is pretty spotty). He was so fun in CvS2 (my main) because of how absurd his range was, overall higher walk speeds, and some very specific aspects of his moves that might not carry over.
Were likely to be sure that Rose and Oro is coming not because it was leak, but because they are most talked and requested.
The new season is obviously made later because of the pandemic, not because it was from scraped worked from the past season. It’s entirely ridiculous argument that Rose was scrapped because of some reasons that she would skipped several other multiple season.
SFV to be beyond 2024 and other leaks with tons of stage were crap, people doesn’t understand the the amount of resources and time wasted just for scrapping a character that is popular and in-demand along with stages and like mode features.
We even knew that things are already getting a grip with the budgets and resources are already tightening because the recent release of costumes, stages and characters does reflect it that they are just working around with what ever is establised.
I don’t expect any bonuses, I don’t have high hopes of bonus and extra but more on expecting what have been there and done would possible take the spot with the character possibility.
It’s like the team is just maximizing whatever is possible with what they already had.
Decapre was a real slap in the face during SF4 but I would be glad to see her back at this point in SFV.
SFV has such an improved roster imo. I used to play Adon, Hawk and Dee Jay but dont mind them being gone this time.
I think people take for granted how awesome it is having Mika (who looked like would never return) Karin, Alex and Urien in 5.
Not really. SFV was well into the planning stages before Decapre’s USFIV reveal. They thought she’d be well received. When she wasn’t they changed her out for Cammy.
Her character standout from the other dolls, she was even redesigned completely than her former SF4 design and also comparing to Juli as a returning doll as she was almost seen in the past titles. So agree there is a strong hinting there.
I won’t feel bad with Capcom retooling resources that’s already there to be a fully downloadable content. They are just doing a favor on extending the franchise, they already said before when and until they are going to maintain SFV.
The SFV character count is already okay and above average already even without the other upcoming 5.
Spreading rumors and false expectations like bonuses because of shilling fake leakers is terrible and being entitled.
