Everyone’s trailer takes place on some stage. That doesn’t make it THEIR stage.
Somehow, I doubt the Aztec alien’s stage is in New Zealand.

I’m just gonna believe the first list that had on it Rose, Viper, Rolento, Elena and Oro.
As much as I like Maki I like the first list more. They should have added Maki instead of Lucia IMO.

Nah, I like new characters. If they are going to cart out the same people over and over again what’s the point. That was one of my biggest issues with SFIV.

About rumor vs rumor as said find them kinda equivalent
Same: Oro and Rose, good. Only two males in both, same problem
Tarots: I find on female side Elena and Viper bring more variety than +2 japanese gurls. Rolento is good
New rumor: Rolento is good but Fei Long >>>>> him, will ever love get more martial arts style rep, plus Rolento is made kinda redundant by Falke being already in (despite him being far better char). While +2 japanese gurls thing is true, i love Makoto far more than Viper

Will have done even more sense if they gave some explanation of Necalli’s awakening, maybe it being triggered by Illuminati
They could have made that to revive Nash Illuminati placed his body in that atzec tomb (just like in ASF Nash is placed in the NZ one) with particular regeneration properties, and that Necalli (who was “sleeping” in the same tomb for centuries) got awakened by the smell of a powerful warrior near to him
If done that will have also made sense NASH being the one that awake him to be also on Nec’s 3 meals prophecy/menu, maybe as the first to eat
I agree on Hugo over Abi (specially considering Abi not have much irreplaceable role in SFV), much better char… but i disagree on others as Hugo is the only alternative that fill the “Giant of the game” thing
I think Sodom/Haggar go fill a different field, more in “competition” with let’s say Honda/Gief/Birdie

Once removed the value of Guy being a FF hero i find old Zeku more memorable design and his moveset more interessing too… but i kinda dislike Young Zeku (or atleast i like Guy more), feels much less inspired
Tbh if i had an alt costume where Young Zeku is Guy (turning the char in a tag-team thing), i will surely set that as the standard

I dont mind “new” characters based on old characters if
a) its done well which Lucia isnt. Does a disservice to the character imo. Going from butch lesbian lookin character to perky harley wanna be.
b) not at the expense of more popular character. “I want Abigail” said no one ever. Why not Damnd? Haggar? Even Belgar in a wheelchair would have been a more interesting concept instead of another herp derp big big guy who faps to car tyres

That’s a hindsight 20/20 situation. As an actual SF3 fan, not one of these people that claimed they played the game back in the day. Several currently revered characters weren’t so initially. Makoto is incredibly high on the popularity list. No one “asked” for the character in 1999.
Edit: To carry the point further, people were bitching about a lack of boxer/Balrog in SF3. That mindset would have denied us Dudley.

it’s unlikely that capcom just would just straight up…
1.) do everything that were left in the poll with better results or
2.) would just do straight up everything in the rumor list,
3.) or would just do everything that is most talked online.
Rolento was more of a better than the likes of Eagle because of other gimmicks and strong character he had. that’s why Rolento get’s more appearance than Eagle.
So it wouldn’t be a surprised that Rolento is more favorable to Capcom than Eagle even Eagle is the more sought after and talked about in SFV time period since the beginning.
Like Ibuki getting more request because than Maki besides from the trends that is obvious but because of the gimmicks and her character appeal.

Rolento is a good pick 'cause this late in the game’s life his inclusion doesn’t feel like it’s taking away from someone else and it means that he probably won’t be making it anytime soon into 6. Save the characters people actually want for the new game.
