Well, the ordering is mostly me being OCD anyway. The teams are right and good, but they don’t have to come out in that order.

Also, for an “Everyone Is There” game you have to have lower quality standards. That’s what games with massive rosters do, like KOF.

Capcom have been called greed a lot over DLC, and yet done some honest/risky moves to enrich SFV cast to SF standards rather than just blowjob the internet for safer money
There’s good chance SFV cast will end up being the best ever after this V Season if they play it smart
At the moment i got it tie with SF4, SFV got better quality but i still can’t deny SF4 gave more importance to martial arts as SF should ever do

A SF “one game” usually lock everything for 5-6 years, and Zangief is not only far better character design than Haggar, but offer in many ways more to SF cast
Plus seems in SFV they finally understood how develop him
Haggar feels the fetish of FF fans (not that i was’nt one myself) that want him for the reason they never got him in SF
Same as Lucia, now we have Lucia and she did’nt had much to offer to SF, easily one of the most forgettable additions of SFV

Makoto will be like the last of a long line of japanese characters (and of jap young girls too)

Makoto will be another “karate fighter” if we want count the shoto ansatsuken crowd as karatekas
Elena character imagery goes on a capcom stylization of african tribal character

As much as surface level all of this is, it’s clear as the sun to me wich of the two girls “offer more” to SFV cast in terms of build the colourful “fighters from all corners of the world fight each other” imagery SF traditionally have

DLC is DLC it is part of modern gaming, it is essential for expansion it’s not corporate greed. The only issue when it is already in just a month of the released date. Not the case of SFV nor SF4.
For a guy like you that is mostly into SF because of SF4 era and start appreciating fighting games during soul calibur 3.
That is requesting tons of apprentice skinny boys, even we had tons of new generation characters already. You won’t understand why Haggar is valuable even some of the final fight characters.
Final Fight had a huge impact when it was on SFZero. Especially those that were in that era.
By the way Lucia and any Final Fight character is more iconic than most of your preference to be in SF. Those were even scrap characters that wasn’t even part of the universe.

Me, I talk about Kage being merge to Necalli in the future to optimize fans request of wanting tons of variation and version of edge lord character that has the similar gameplan. to avoid redundancy but to kept the appeal to the target audience. And it is not to introduce new versions and to avoid making Ryu obsolete in future games because of Evil Ryu continue to exist. It’s better work around than introducing more version of shoto edgelord characters since it’s already a staple in every fighting game that had been a part of the 90s era.
Kage is a genius of Capcom for making it a better replacement than any attempts of edge lords version that were failure like Necali, Oni and various version of Evil Ryu in the past that ended either overpowered, another clone in terms of gameplay or didn’t appeal to it’s target audience like Necali, Necali being lackluster to Evil Ryu fans but Kage succeed on. Plus seperating it to Ryu makes Ryu a better character both in narrative and gameplay. Capcom is a Genius for inventing Kage to solve all problems. I’m against multiple version of this archetype so Im not requesting them but optimizing them or retiring instead. Same as the other clones. in other words I want to make the best of them in what is established because they are already in the part of SF, The best of tons of Evil Ryu and including Oni is no other than Kage because it separate itself to Ryu.
And also I wrote tons of narration to how to retire some cast properly like the Dolls in shadaloo saga and neo shadaloo even those new characters like RUFUS that weren’t successful to win the hearts of FGC. because my character request is to work around what is established and accept everything that is part of the whole design from game, visual and everything. I don’t even push my own nationality here as a character or my interest in cyberpunk genre unlike this guy.
Even my character request for new characters is mostly about returning masters not apprentices in the history of the character thread. Along with more aged female, That is true diversity because we only had few of those archetype. Most of my new character request is are background characters unlike him that are just from the concept arts of a cancelled game.
Even if I would introduce a new franchise to cross SF it would be SLAMMASTER which I talked mostly in the past than those scrapped characters.

I very much doubt that.
Modern gaming IS corporate greed.
DLC could be a positive thing, but it is very rarely the case.
In the case of Street Fighter: 1/3 of the price of a full game for 6 characters, I don’t know how to call that other than greed.
The same realism would also imply that Capcom won’t go for a good art style because they want to sell their DLC costume. It also implies that they won’t ever make a game with the full cast.
Screw realism if it means we are to accept that Capcom just milks the franchise without even trying to make a good game (as they are doing since SF IV).
We have the right to a full game at launch, with at least 30 characters, and a story.
The reason im pissed off if its really Oro and Rolento is because such badass characters need to be at the start of a game cycle on the base roster as opposed some bullshit near the end of its life. They should have saved them for SF6 or brought them much earlier.
Same thing happened to Rolento and Elena in SF4. Wtf capcom?
