I have no idea what Capcom has going on over there, but we all thought the game was done with content and today they actually showed us some good news. Buuuuuuuuuuut this is Capcom, so I’ll just keep my expectations cautiously low.

On the game’s defense, they state in the blog that Season V is coming “because of the positive reception of Season 4”.
That gives me the hopes they will actually put effort on Season V, since they’ve between lines stated they got the people’s trust, so they won’t give them something just half-baked.
Just give her a better design.
I strongly expect at least one of the characters to be Decapre/other doll. If they are actually just finishing up a few characters that were in development to pad out their FG content (which makes sense why this season is 5 characters instead of 6) and didn’t originally plan this season, finishing one of the dolls from ASF would be a pretty efficient way to pad out the offerings. Plus, it’s another character they can make costumes with for the waifu dress up crowd.
Dolls should have never been invented 
Unfortunately it’ll be Decapre, since she’s pretty much finished. The cooler dolls like Xiayu or Noembelu need far more work done
Yeah Capcom flat out said Decapre was supposed to be on the base roster and they pulled her for Cammy after the adverse reaction to her USFIV announcement.

I thought you like Bison to kill Rose and take over her body and became the final boss of a future title SF.
Then take ed body and became final boss of another Sf title
I’ll add up something that you might like for SF8 Bison taking falke body… then shadaloo Bison again with younger body and super powerful than anyone else.
It’s like everyone is agreeing on Bison then Gill would also be killed. So every SF game would had been Bison and various version of him jumping different bodies then have a body then repeat like a loop?
I’m the only one of the few who doesn’t preferred deaths here but okay with characters being retired by doing something else for awhile rather than killing them. And Im the probably the only one that wants the story to progress gradual rather than time skips.
Fighting games narrative should be not treated like a television series that aim shock value and attentions because of the ratings. It’s better like the 90s cartoons that things isn’t that complicated and everyone is available in case they would return in game.
Bison, Necali, Gill and Kage are the only privilege that can return to a reset state of self while the others isn’t. We don’t need more zombies and Frankenstein version of other dead character if return after being killed. Availability and flexibility of the characters is the priority for a fighting game.

We don’t need to sacrifice Rose for the sake of Bison and for the sake of making Bison something just different than before, Bison can have another body engineered and lab grown.
And Phantom Bison is okay he even doesn’t need a body because it can fight and haunt other people, his is a better version of Nightmare Geese.
Bison doesn’t need to have a huge part in SF3 timeline, he is better on the sideline and recovering what with Shadaloo while distancing from the spotlight. He can still be a useable but no impact in the story.
My thoughts on Rose:
Spare Rose besides from not being a another young and middle age females in SF, she is one that would always keep the universe and narrative balance. Since Bison is an immortal poltergeist already. Rose keeps thing in balance and in-check. Risking Rose to give a different impression to Bison and to another appeal to those that hate shadaloo being the main antagonist in SF Bison as the main antagonist again. Is a terrible way of handling an IP for a popular fighting game title. Unless you want to turn things like MK which is so complicated that it had to introduce time gods and etc in order to fix past narrative mistakes.
thoughts on SF6
Q seems interesting to stay as a mystery what is interesting is have some bits of info about the alphabet company rather than Q. Since Q appeal is entirely him being mysterious which is not like of G.
My thoughts on Viper
It’s fine if Viper isn’t in SFV like I said in the earlier comment if they would planned something big for her in the future, She has potential.
There’s no point of telling a what ahead of Ryu past of SF3 timeline in SF5, because they should met in SF3 not in SF5.
Do we really need some poor cliche that is force like… Oro scouting Ryu since alpha because he knew he has potential because thats terrible. It’s like how terrible Akuma having telepathy to each other, like they became psychics that read minds lol.
My thoughts on Oro and Ryu
She along the flexible character so, it’s up to Capcom. I like her too.
Any of Xianyu with Jianyu or Noembelu would make me proud and happy especially if Xianyu with Jianyu.
Then Capcom instead surprises with Juni instead because we only fought Juli lol. Please not Juli. Haha
Juni isn’t a doll anymore, which is why you don’t see her with the others.

Yup but her gameplay is like mostly ended up closest to the dolls like Cammy, Decapre and Juli plus she has her previous design,
unlike Xianyu, Jianyu and Noembelu that has lots of freedom for design which is better.

If I were to be ask the important and crucial characters that is needed here to affect the story are those had huge role to before SF3.
As the way they would give proper closure to the story of the Dolls and Thawk.
For having info regarding Secret Society, Effie or Necro can give a good insights about what Secret Society in a different and more interesting perspective than the lens of Viper which is mostly would just explains her interaction with Urien and never was the other unmentioned and unrevealed organization she is connected to.
They need also to retcon the Sean back from what he should be in SF3.
Yet I do like character like Haggar to had a proper debut in SF.

I mean, they are fine as a plot-point. But they never should have been involved in gameplay. Playble or not.

The thing is they had been already there and SF4 made it more than a plot point, Alpha was but in SF4 it was a major thing while in SF5 which was all about shadaloo again it’s inevitable, that’s why they need a reasonable turn over before SF3, like them living peaceful normal lives and losing all infused psycho power then losing the memories from the time they were brainwashed later along with those bunch of Neo-Shadaloo.
but the problem is Cammy was also a Doll.
They could create something like if they wanted them to return as a character, some dolls would practice proper combat techniques with other SF characters.
As @Pertho pointed out in another thread, what if the 5 characters in Season 5 happens to be from a tarot card set, which was released 2 years ago?

It would be a season almost too good to be true (3/5 of my personal wishlist: Oro, Rose and Elena), but Rolento seems ouf of place. UNLESS he’s the new boss planning to do something with Mad Gear and Metro City, because until now Cody has had very little real trouble. Abigail is too stupid to be actually dangerous on a bigger scale, and the other ex-Mad Gear members either aren’t interested (Poison and Hugo) or don’t have the ability to really pose a threat on a city. Rolento is the only one to possess that scheming tendency.
