Would second that, no fancy scar or anything just the classy SF2 Ryu please.
Yeah I don’t mind them returning to Alpha mix along with sf2 tò to bridge in to Sf4. Stripping all characters and endings that wasn’t relevant to the story of SFalpha to compromise with the current SF5 individual story and endings.
And without no fancy tournaments other than everyone searching and going against shadaloo and Bison being cornered then single out by what happened in the SF aftermath.
Unfortunately I doubt Capcom can do a cartoony SFII Movie like look for a Street Fighter game without spending a bajillion dollars and manhours imitating Xrd’s artstyle
Y’all better be praying they don’t opt for RE Engine and just make SF6 realistic like DMCV or Resi7
Will love get SF2 Ryu, hopefully X-Kira was right about that
Considering Sagat got easter egg reference to SF2tAM, will love easter egg to look like his young training version, without headband and still with sleeves
We had been with this kind of talk and the most favorable is always either SF2 look or Bengus Alpha style. So thats the better of the two retold the whole alpha with SF2 conjunction with the SF4 viper aftermath.
Sure, but we have yet to see them do an RE Engine based title that isn’t going for realistic visuals. So far they’re 4 for 4 with such games. Unless they pick UE4 again
It’s a stylistic choice. Not an engine restriction the Xrd engine difference was how the it animates not because of cell shading. Cell shading had been around even in early PSX games that was before Xrd even existed.
There no problem “liking doing it”, I prefer those than reboots. It’s safer and makes everything clear from past to recent and future, than another timeskip or another era of dividing fighters.
It would be cool if Capcom did a Street Fighter game like Dead or Alive dimensions. Have a game that covers the story from the first game up to SFIII chronologically to set the stage for SF6. When it comes to SF, this would only cover the main story points and ditch a lot of the side stories.
Do you think that those were mistakes or, because of pixel limitations (like space between the writings), we were lead to misinterpretations?
That’s ok! When you have time! I’d like to have the Shadaloo reports, Sakura’s house, Sakura’s Shadaloo report and Cody’s breaking news translated. It totally hyped me when you translated the Sakura journey and it had a text reinforcing the fact that SF1 wasn’t considered a tournament anymore (now I’m tryng to find that artwork of Ryu VS Sagat)!
Thanks one more time!
Well, the team who did HD surely WAS. Even the Japanese commented about the mistakes of background writings in HD remix. Don’t forget that there was written documentation available (IN JAPAN) about what the pixelated writings in SF2 actually meant, so I think that’s a case of miscommunication between developers. Furthermore, as we now have an official 3D rendering in full HD of Honda’s stage, we know what the real writings are.
Er… Do you have links? I don’t remember where the scans were…
