Costumes in SF5 was kinda more loosely on the character personality than what was in SF4. In SF4, Capcom stated at the beginning when introducing costumes that they would make costumed relevant to the character, maybe soon those became loosely to the original intentions as SF4 expansion release while SFV we got RedBull Ryu and Chun li.
Why is the concept art so obsessed with cowboy chaps lately? Are we gonna see Honda wearing chaps when his concept art comes out?

Actually, KM originated in Czechoslovakia so they could use that instead of Israel.
Speaking of costumes, I know it’s a little thing, but I’m kind of pissed off Poison’s nostalgia costume is her Final Fight one, not her SFIV/III one. They are basically the same, so I don’t mind having the FF one there and I don’t give a shit if her shirt strap is down or up, but the fact there is no color option for the SFIV on is kind of wack.

The creator of KM was a jew who passed his youth there but founded the KM system in Israel when training the israeli army (wich he was actively help to built)
KM Is so close linked to israeli army that tbh will be even offensive actively dodging a jew character for it lol
While at It sf3 had ideas for a jew fighter and a jew golem (lol), but they got different balls back then lol
Tbh that’s just marketing, trying to sound SO different
KM have a big component of smart marketing to some extent are the new McDojo lol
Reality Krav Maga is just another martial art like many others built taking parts from existing styles (wich Is not a bad thing)
Only real difference Is between martial arts and fight sports, the latter styles being designed to stay inside a sport rules set
But still i consider also fight sports to be martial arts

It’s only really using Israel that would be problematic, even back in SF2 times. Besides not all Jews are Israeli.
Honestly, it’s high time we got a KM user but using a Israeli soldier is all kinds of awkward.

If Capcom avoided giving FANG and Rashid countries officially, I sincerely doubt they will give any character in the future an Israeli nationality.
Just make a blonde Israeli female commando who’s a rival to Rashid in the story and counters him in the game, who’s top tier and calls everyone else a goy.
Then take a step back and watch as the world burns.

The design guy might be the same who designed original SFV Juri, so he must have been royally pissed off by whoever pulled the leather under leather censorship for Juri, and now he won’t rest until he has his chap pants on someone else.
Feel sad for him, please approve an alt costume, it will still be better than an animal or Mega Man one.
