Yes I did. Doesn’t take long to load up fraps, record an avi, use windows movie maker to turn it into an mp4 and upload it to youtube. Main reason I don’t use sound is because that increases the file size (which is HUGE already when you record an AVI file with Fraps since it is uncompressed. And fraps makes my computer slow down a bunch so I record in half resolution and turn off sound so I get a smooth video recording.
Also on the subject of Hugo vs Viper. Hugo has his down + down + MK overhead leap attack that will likely avoid seismos entirely, its airborne from frame 1 and has very little recovery so he could use that to hop over seismos like how Cody can with crack kick.
id like to see all the females have standard health, juri her U1 last 2x as long and make U2 hit box larger, think simple as that she would be seen more play in tourneys from her
Health should be based on tools and strengths not gender of polygons. Some female characters SHOULD have lower than average health but not because they are female, but because of their tools. Sakura, Ibuki, and Cammy come to mind in this regard. I wouldn’t mind seeing Rose/Makoto and potentially Poison with 1k health though (depending on how her frame data/hitboxes look in SF4 vs SFxT).
i play sakura since sf4 release and she has stayed the same almost throught the whole games upgrades and new releases, only because of chris g are people talking about her like she some super beast, she just fine, chris g is just a awesome player
The only things from Sakura that people complain about are her godly wtf j.hp and EX Tatsu being +4 on block so Sakura can continued pressure for free…
Apparently you never got the memo about the massive buffs she received from Super to AE
close MP in super - 4F startup 2F active 12F recovery. 0F on block +3F on hit
close MP in AE - 4F startup 2F active 9F recovery. +3F on block +6F on hit
close/far LK in super - 3F startup 2F active 8F recovery -1F on block +2F on hit
close/far LK in AE - 3F startup 2F active 8F recovery +1F on block +4F on hit
far HK in super - 10F startup 3F active 15F recovery 0F on block +2F on hit
far HK in AE - 10F startup 3F active 15F recovery 0F on block +4F on hit
far MK - Hitbox buffed in AE
far MP - Made special cancelable
Level 2 Hadoken - Total frame count reduced from 60 to 56
Level 3 Hadoken - Total Frame count reduced from 72 to 64
Sakura’s been fine since AE, v2012 buffs we’re just icing on the cake. Not to mention the original AE top tiers got nerfed to help her catch up even more. (Easily B+/A-)
I understand that you should give characters health based on options, characteristics, and other factors. Phoenix Wright is the perfect example of this, I mean this joke character has like 1.2 million health, while Dante has around 900,000 health. It makes sense that a character as good as Dante should not have that much health. But for some reason I have to agree with Capcom about girls being weaker “omg I’m sexist” yeah maybe alittle.
Girls with 900 that people want buffed should get 950, no more than that._. Poison seems acceptable to have at 1000 health, I mean she’s a big beautiful woman. (yeah retarded reason) Technically a guy if you go off western storyline.
My issue has always been that only now are people making a big deal over j.fierce. I mean, hasn’t that move stayed the same in terms of hitbox since vanilla? If I’m wrong, please correct me, but as far as I know, it’s always been that way…and I’m okay with that, because how else are we supposed to get in without burning bar?
Yeah, she’s good, but I doubt she’s top 5. Too many characters with vortexes, 3f reversals and better ambiguous set-ups, combined with her poor wake-up options without burning precious meter, keep her hovering closer to top 8.
I honestly can’t see anything she needs nerfed, and likewise, I don’t think she needs any buffs. Maybe they can do something to keep her from flying over certain crouching opponents when she does ex shunpu, but maybe sak players shouldn’t be throwing that move around without forcing a standing position with cr.fierce first.
I see Sakura’s jump ins the same way I see Seth’s, which is good luck anti airing without an invincible move, and even then it still gets stuffed sometimes. The difference is Sakura actually has good footsie normals like cr.mk with ridiculous range and easily hitcomfirmable, st.hk that beats some lows, cr.mp that actually stuffs a lot of things that it shouldn’t, and a 3F st.lk that can punish many moves because of its range. She shouldn’t have the freedom to control the ground AND air space that she does considering her combos build a lot of meter, and do insane damage/stun. There’s no way she’s not currently top 5.
I never said she was average. Given that there are 30+ characters, shes in the top 25%, which is awesome. All I’m saying is all the recent success by chris g may force a knee-jerk reaction similar to what happened to sentinel and yun. Yeah, they shouldn’t have beem THAT good, but post patch they dropped significantly (apart from the loyal fanbase and diehards). I mean, for every Chris G win, I’ve gotta wonder why folks like skatan and uryo chose chun and viper respectively in their recent tournament showings.
I know she’s good…I’m just voicing a concern that her recent success, coupled with the large influx of newer player’s and their penchant to mindlessly repeat what they hear as fact, may cause her adjustments to be extreme. That’s all.
When you see a jumping normal cleanly stuffing Gief’s lariat, you know there’s something wrong.
Besides, the fact that she has a great air tatsu that helps her avoid invincible AAs like DPs and other excellent air normals only makes the j.hp look more stupid.
