got back from Toryuken last night and i kind of wish i did better as i was one win away from being in top 16 winners side, and then i lost twice in a row D: got to play a few sets with Jagos zero team and that was really fun though. unfortunately, i was never put on stream
Jago has a Zero team? He does have the best Dante IMO with Yipes being the only other contender so I wouldn’t be too surprised. Did you show up on stream at all?
he plays my team we went even in some sets, really cool guy. gave him some tips for finishing his lightning loops and all that jazz
i wasnt put on stream surprisingly as i was tearing it up on the winners side of my pool until winners/losers finals
Zero, Dante, and Magneto players are all united in some way. It’s hard not to have one of the 3 most stylish characters in the game. I’ll just have the 3 of them please.

how do you guys deal with pro hulk/sent, at round start magneto is already at disadvantage, i just let the mofo grab me and roll out to safety. but in neutral game, gamma charges messes all my crap up and drones following up is a pain to deal with. u can only block for so long before hulk cracks you. any proven strats?
I’m not in the lab right now and going to head out soon but I think his j.H is susceptible to a grab if you are underneath Hulk. At the start of the round, I usually back off and zone them then wait for them to make a mistake for me to grab or punish.
start of a match go for a throw and buffer into a forcefield.
as for neutral game, I just magblast away as usual. tatsu assist is really good for dealing with drones so it’s pretty free for my team.

And that’s why they nerfed Tempest startup invincibility pre freeze folks. This works 100% and I tested it in the lab and you can punish things like Ryu’s L tatsu. So good.

Someone on the tier thread said Mags can cancel blockstun in the air with Hyper Grav, can you guys test this? I’m at work
I tested it and it works 100%, you can even use it to punish Vergil’s Helm Breaker xx Telport by doing grab xx tempest xx DHC. One thing though, if you cancel into hypergrab and they are doing an air string you’ll get counterhit, this proves that this works, but also means its pretty risky to do and you need a lot of resources for the most part(2meters vs most stuff you’d use this against).
Why would you do that when you can punish his Helm Breaker if you air block it? Anyway, I’m looking for a practical way to use this tech. I’m starting with MorriDoom & Zero
Had this for about a month only matchup its useful in is against dante’s jump S. Light HG would grab hammer. if you’re gonna risk jumping into the move just to dhc out might as well use the gravitation in the ground.
