Yes, you need to learn how to move and control space with Magneto.

But the point is you don’t want to grab them at the start of the round. Bait them for good damage god damn it!!!

You should learn both as they will help you increase the amount of damage your magneto can do instead of just the same bullshit magic series, fisher fuckin price :l: :h: :s: shit I’m always seeing online

I’d like to know the same…as i’ve put in some time learning trying to learn Magnus; I have the fly loop down 100% (in training mode), and can convert it into grav loop…tho my grav loop is a lil ghetto I use addf M instead of addf H after the grav, just works easier with my timing. Anyways, I’d like a better fullscreen combo than fly loop or at least something to work towards, any suggestions/videos? There were so many grav tutorials on yt its pretty sweet. But man this dude takes practice, compared to doom…I wonder if the beam assist is worth it sometimes…agh

Okay so right now I’m playing around with Magneto[beam] Morrigan[meterbuildplasma] Amaterasu[coldstarz] and the set ups are ridiculous considering the fact that most of the combos I do have added meter thanks to Morrigan giving me usually 3.5 to 4.25 after resets. Then there’s the dog’s cold star assist for locking someone down in the corner (dat marlinpoo, get shat on).

I think this is a really, really good team right now. Going to keep experimenting more with this and also, if any of you guys have any requests let me know(stuff you want to see that you might not be able to do yourself) in a message (so that you won’t have to worry about folks stealing your magnetechnology).

magnetic blast has such a weird motion but I’m just gonna practice the shit out of it until I get used to it, slowly getting there. Although I can’t seem to do that loop in the corner, is it different?

Also I seem to miss either the j.L after the j.M xx fly in the fly loop or I hit that and chain it into j.M, but then the J.H whiffs because they’re too far away. Any tips or should I just keep grinding at it.

do LH after fly cancel, LMH only works if you delay your adf M before the fly cancel.

sorry for all the questions today guys, but the help is definitely appreciated. I’m always wanted to play magneto, but was too intimidated. But I’m getting better. How long did it take for you guys to get his combos down consistently?

Just practice…maybe even take a breather from playing. I was stuck at that same phase as you were too but now I can consistently do fly combos…even without looking. Once you get the muscle memory for it then you’re all set.

I have a rhythm for it…picked it up from watching FChamp playing lol. I was wondering how he was doing the flight combos and saw that he had a rhythm. I picked up the same rhythm and got it in a day. But before that, I was struggling just like you were. So I guess…practice, look for a rhythm, take a break, come back to it and repeat. I find sometimes taking a break from something repetitive to correct my errors. I was thinking of making a video tutorial on flight combos if more and more people needs help with it. Now its pretty easy and im surprised at how difficult it seemed back then so I can understand the frustrations. Good luck.

Edit: Hard to explain my rhythm through text but j.H, ADF, j.M xx Fly has one rhythm. And the next or “section” is the j.L, j.H, ADF H…

Corner timing is more strict since you have to delay the adf jH more so that the Magnetic Blast will connect. I don’t ever go for it in the corner though.

My corner combo is cLMHS jH addf jH stH xx Hyper Grav superjump add jS stHS jH addf jH stH xxHyper Grav, one rep of Hyper Grav loop, super jump add jS (call Drones) stHS jHS (Drones hit)

from that point I either air dash down into Tempest or air dash down jS (more drones it) stS jHS if I don’t wanna use meter.
