I know Raph is stupid and Iâm glad for that since I have loved him since I was a kid and he ALWAYS gets shafted in the TMNT beat em up games.
But what does th rest of the tier list look like?
Shredder looks solid with his reach and good specials. Iâm thinking high tier at worst.
Mike and Armagon are top too. Shredder isnât too far behind. Chrome dome is like a balanced broken character. Don is Don. Everyone else except War is at least playable.
I put about 7 seconds of thought into this, but all of Askaâs matchups are 4-6. This includes against herself. She has the answer to everything, itâs just not as rewarding as anything else out there.

The A and B tiers are a bit âiffyâ to me and Iâd have to compose a matchup chart for more accuracy. Even then, not many ppl play TF and who knows how matches would develop later down the line.
Some dude upped a response to one of TeamSpookyâs match vids. Aside from the infinite timer and super-low damage itâs actually not that bad. I love it when randoms actually know how to play the game.

Iâm sitting on some match vids for this game, nothing great just average play, but since their xvid I canât cut them with movie maker.
Is online play with zsnes any good, because Iâd really like to play with anybody who still plays this game?
Hmmm online play isnt /too/ bad from what I remember a few years back. It wasnât great eitherâŚI guess you can say itâs tolerable.
ZBattle (google it) was the way to go when you wanted to get in some snes action over the nets but I havenât used it in a couple of years and from what I recall the sever wasnât up anymore(?).
What you /could/ do is make a request on the thread or something, have someone PM you details, you give them your IP addy and you can both play through the zsnes netplay feature. snes9x has netplay features as well.

Hmm. In my experience, Aska actually had a good match in her favour: Against Cyber-Shredder. IIRC, Shredder had no answer to repeat tornado spin except a blind Knee. Also, Aska lost extra hard against War, since War was the only character who could jump over her tornado.
I agree with vs Shredder being one of askaâs good matchups. Whatâs funny though, is that I got rocked by a C.Shredder at the last NEC I went to. The guyâs answer to everthing: HK Aura Knee or blind knee like you as you said lol. Every wakeup was a knee as well. After a while I caught on and started DPing everything: Spin, DP and for oki walk up, DP. The problem with this was that the dpâs were doing shit for damage (âShe has the answer to everything, itâs just not as rewarding as anything else out there.â). So I then tried switching back to âroulette modeâ thinking this guy would actually start respecting DPs but NOPE. He suck with Knee for everything, got in some hits here and there and I was done.
I still think She has an advantage over Shredd though and If you can figure out the player then she can hurt just about any characterâs game. Aska reminds me of 3s makoto but the reward for guessing being FAR LESS. Thatâs where her problem lies.
As for war jumping out of tornadoes, I dont think heâll be getting away from those unless itâs from afar. War has even less answers to tornado lockdown than Shredd.
Spin, DP > Jump out or poke
Spin, Throw > turtling
Spin, Spin or Spin, st.LP, Spin also > turtling (she generates more meter and chips health)
TMNT: TF⌠I remember having this game when it first came out (TMNT was the SHIT when I was little). This was actually the first fighting game I owned!
Sadly, I let some guy borrow it, and he let me borrow Scooby Doo. I never saw that guy again. Probably the worst trade ever. :sad:

damn this brought me back 15 years all of a sudden. flashbacks of the past. i always liked this game but hated the lack of characters in it. this was the only non snk or capcom game that i actually liked. it wasnt as good as FFS or SSF2 or SF2T but it was the next best thing.
Yeah, TF was pretty much DAT SF CLONE #N to hold the gamers down until SSF2 was set do drop on SNES. After that, it was back to the sewers for TF.
